Best sushi I've had in Washington. The atmosphere is great but the service is top notch. I've been here 3 or 4 times and every experience is better than the last. Mira is an amazing server. Pray that she's working when you visit. Great recommendations always and very personable and funny too. Mira isn't mean.

I had the Bluefin Hawaiian roll. The temperature was perfect, fish succulent, rice freshly rolled, and the mango glaze was subtle enough to backlight the bluefin, but punchy and bright enough to swirl me in a tropical little cloud, all to myself. I would have rated this 5 stars even without the cheery, crisp fuschia orchid that tied it all together with class. Will eat there regularly, and I'm thrilled that I live nearby. :) I'd add pictures, but I got so swept up in the olfactory/flavor explosion, it didn't occur to me to stop and access my phone camera. Next time I will.

Been here twice and both times I had the Asahi tower (kind of spicy) along with a couple other dishes. Super

I went here on the third date with a girl I really wanted to impress. This was a perfect experience. The staff was fast and very friendly, helping with recommendation. When they brought the food out, they created a makeshift candle out of cucumber roll and wasabi. The plating was very sleek and it was a perfect spot for a date night. The sushi was very fresh and delicious! The portions are a good size and the price is right for the quantity and quality of each order. We ordered three rolls, and two orders of sushi Nigiri. I think the Heart Attack roll was our favorite and was recommended by the staff. It had a beautiful crunch, and the sauce was very complementary on each bite. The Asahi roll was our second favorite due to the combined sauces on it and the inner ingredients , making for a beautiful bite sized experience. All of the sushi was well portioned. This was our first time trying, bluefin tuna, and it was exceptionally rich. It’s worth trying for sure. The overall experience was amazing and we will definitely be back soon. I’m pretty sure this place scored me a fourth date with my amazing new girlfriend. Thank you to the owner and staff of Asahi Sushi for a perfect date night experience!

Purchased a bento box and some sushi rolls. Food was good. Atmosphere is great. Small spot with multiple tables and booths, great music. Chill ambiance.

Very very thin small pieces of fish. The rolls fall apart. The Bow "roll" is a huge stack of rice with very little fish on top, nothing inside. Again falling apart the second you pick it up. Also we made it clear no mayo in the crab mix. They still brought it out with mayo(allergy), then replaced it with a horrible crab stick. Only got 2 stars because daughter liked her Katsu.

This place always serves premium sushi. We discovered this place located in downtown Olympia about a year ago. It's become my kids and one of my favorite sushi stops for those tasty sushi rolls. They have a wide variety of specials and different promotions on on high quality fish of the day. They also serve your other favorite Japanese cuisines and lunches or dinners.

Bad experience here. I ordered takeaway. I got the avocado cucumber roll which came without cucumber, the tuna roll which smelled stinky and old, and the California roll which I also could not finish. I would rather eat Safeway sushi. Very disappointed because I’ve been hoping for good sushi in Oly. Not planning to return. Cost about $25 for 3 rolls, price is ok.

They had very fresh and tasty tuna. They have a great menu with lots of options. One of our servers was great and went above, while the other seemed didn’t seem happy to be there.
