Aya prioritizes quality over quantity. The chicken teriyaki is the best we’ve ever had, though we expected a larger portion of chicken. The rice is clean-tasting and just the right texture. The egg roll is average, but the pork miso ramen broth is exceptional! The rich flavor infused into the veg and noodles. However, there was far too little broth, likely less than a cup. Let me start by saying the shopping center leaves much to be desired aesthetically, however, that's not the case with Aya. It's beautiful inside and the folks that work there are incredibly friendly and hard-working. The sushi is incredible the portion sizes make it a very good value. The chicken katsu was also verybgood. If I had any complaint it would be the fried rice. It's pretty salty and forgettable quite honestly. That means that you go here for the sushi...

Great food. I got the tuna rolls and the unagi. I recommend the unagi.

The servers were cordial. I was placed in the back corner and had to wave them down but it's understandable.

The place is full of Japanese decoration, false pillars Japanese lanterns and artwork, a bunch of sake and tea sets on display behind the bar.

Definitely a popular place. It was almost at capacity when I went in.
