Went for lunch while visiting our son in Olympia. We had eaten here two years ago and decided to come back. We were a little disappointed in the Cod, it seemed to be more breading than fish. Our son had the Cheeseburger and enjoyed it. It is on the water so the atmosphere is great.
Was looking forward to a fresh seafood dinner with family given the TA ratings and No. 1 ranking but didn't get it!!! First, asked about the salmon if it was wild and sockeye but was surprised to be told the "only" salmon they had was Atlantic farm raised salmon!!!! This in a seafood restaurant on the water during West Coast salmon runs!!!! So I ordered the "tiger prawns" which were what we call large shrimp in FL--they were heavily breaded, overly crisp and bland. The macadamia crusted halibut was a large slab that looked like it had been processed then formed , frozen then thawed prior to cooking and as a result was a bit dry and lacked taste--at $34.99 a bit pricey for what you got!! The cioppino had a lot of seafood but strangely was served over a bed of shredded veggies rather than being in the normal spicy tomato broth! Left most of the veggies! The 10 oz. prime rib was flavorful, moist but not tender and too grainy and definitely not worth the $41 price tag!!! One plus was the "tipsy turvy" special of 50% off bottles of wine but when check came the discount was not applied until I pointed it out!!! Ambiance was ho hum, it was a bit cold and a little damp inside and obviously the view was negligible given the dinner hour!! Service was average but the wait for our meals to be served was somewhat long given the place was practically empty! Didn't care for the 3 1/2% surcharge for using a credit card--these days it is a credit card society and businesses should view its use as a standard business expense and treat it as such!!! Bottom line--not impressed especially when you spend in excess $340!!!!!
We were seated at a table near the window. I had a perfect view of the harbor and Puget Sound. It was wonderful sipping a glass of wine and watching the boats at their moorings. The staff were wonderful. They came by frequently enough that we had everything we needed, but not so much that it might be annoying. If you haven't been here, give it a try. Our experience was great.

Wandered in looking for something to eat while I waited for my friend to get off work. Sat at the bar and ordered a Lavender French 75 to start while I ordered my Sunset Dinner of fried artichoke hearts, rajun cajun salmon cesar salad, and NY style cheese cake. After I finished my Lavender French, I asked for something Apple and sour and Isaiah did not disappoint with an apple bourbon sour.
The fried artichoke hearts are crispy and flavorful. The salmon was slightly sweet, not too fishy and paired well with the candied pecans that topped the cesar salad. I was unable to finish the salad and had to take it to go, as well as my cheesecake. My cheesecake will make a wonderful midnight snack as it looks delicious.
Let's not forget the beautiful view as well.

Over priced for microwave food that comes out cold. Appetizer came with meal, not before. Total bill was was different from one receipt to another. Not off by much, but still higher. And they add a 3% credit card fee to bill.

On arriving it was 11:47. I ordered a to-go order for two cheeseburgers with fries with everything on the side. When I got the order home it looked as though the hamburger had been sitting out, was burnt, old and there was no cheese on the CHEESEBURGER. It was IN A CONTAINER. Along with wilted LETTUCE, runny tomatoes that barely held together, pickles from the bottom of a jar, onions that look like they were cut with a butter knife, some thick some thin enough to not be a slice at all. And there was the cheese in a separate container! WHAT? A cheeseburger with everything on the side comes with no CHEESE? The place was empty, (4 a reason right?) 37 minutes for a to-go trashed order. $45. The lousiest experience I've had since I've been in Olympia 27 years. Go elsewhere people this is not the place to order anything to go.

The food was good the service was great! The atmosphere was ok. Beautiful setting but the place needs a little updating. I would definitely eat here again. Just saying that a few updates would be nice at some point. I enjoyed my time and my meal.

The restaurant is nice, food is average. 2 fish and chips eaters, right off the bat, really didn't like the batter on the fish. Neither of these people are picky. My house specialty salad was not special at all. Will not return
