I would have rated it five stars but in the end was disappointed thanks to a petty surcharge for cocktail sauce and horseradish. We had the delicious 10 piece Chelsea oyster sampler followed by two full excellent entrees but the tab included $1 each for condiments which are typically standard in oyster bars. I queried it and was told that it’s because of the labor involved in their preparation (isn’t labor built in to the cost of operating a raw bar?) and...
The food is splendid. It is not cheap but it is all fresh oysters, fish, and shellfish. Their variation on tartar was excellent. The shirley temple was made with ginger ale, this being the only weird thing that wasn't good. Also you must ask for ice for your water or it will arrive room temperature.
