Best restaurant in Olympia, without a doubt, everything is always executed perfectly. Small simple details often elevate a good dish to a divine plate (like the crispy lentils in the gem salad adding a bit of crunch and nutty flavor plus the green goddess pistachio dressing is sensational). Cute atmosphere and good service. I wish I had a great experience with the food, but it was disappointing.
The rock fish was ok - burnt on the edges, but otherwise fine. Nothing amazing nor horrible. The collard greens were flavored heavily with vinegar - tasting more like pickled relish almost. The rice was just plain white fluffy rice like Uncle Ben's. And the hushpuppies were a little sweet and had corn in them; they were closer to corn fritters. Good hushpuppies...

This is the best food EVER. Literally I have to take a pause from conversation to have a euphoric moment of joy not with the first or last bite but every single one. I think it says something about the quality of a meal if you are sad when you have your last bite but are also rushing to the first bite of the next dish. Basically what I’m saying is. Eat here. Always.
