We came to The Cove expecting a relaxed date night with dinner, drinks, and to enjoy the live band that was setting up last night. While the place was busy, there were still open tables, though many were marked as reserved. At the door, we were told we could only be seated if we could be āin and out within an hour.ā I clearly said no, explaining that I didnāt want to feel rushed or be forced to leave. We were then asked if weād be willing to share a table with other guests, which we agreed to. We were seated, ordered drinks and dinner, and everything seemed fineāuntil we finished eating. Immediately after our meal, we were asked to pay our bill and leave because the table was reserved. We were essentially kicked out of the establishment. This was extremely poorly handled. If tables are time-limited or reserved, guests should not be seated under those conditions after clearly stating they donāt want to be rushed. Very upsetting experience. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

First time here. Loved it. Good vibes. Not too noisy or too somber. The clam chowder was great. Friday night live music. Tonight was jazz. Aimee went out of her way to make us a caramel apple cider drink we wanted. We will go back. You should too .
