Emperor's Palace Restaurant Reviews
in the last year the prices have increased to an unaffordable amount. had the portions remained the same that would be one thing. delicious food, but so expensive now for less portions. I just cant afford to eat here anymore, sadly!
the food is delicious and always has been every experience I've ever had there which has been several years worth of experiences. This last one if I was to rate one to 10 was a one I had to ask two times for one of the dishes that came with the b meal which I took most of the meal home because I was waiting for that side service was just lousy I've never had this experience there before
Had a solo lunch at The Emperor’s Palace near the mall in Olympia. I hadn’t been there in years and was pleased to find it bright and clean. The fish tank that greets you in the lobby could use a good cleaning tho. They have some beautiful colorful fish in that tank but it looked kind of murky and boring. Poor, bored fish!

Emperor's Palace Restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including Singapore Noodles, Lemon Chicken, Pork Egg Foo Yung, and Pork Fried Rice. Meals are generous and often enough to feed two people. Customer service can sometimes be slow, especially when waiting for to-go boxes, but servers are usually helpful and friendly, offering suggestions to enhance the dining experience. The restaurant is known for its American-style Chinese food, with most flavors being bland and salty, similar to typical American dishes. However, the soups, such as curry and hot-and-sour, have real flavor and stand out positively. The menu has recently become more limited and more expensive, with most dinner items costing $20 or more, and vegetarian options are scarce, with only Mapo Dofu remaining, which contains pork. Parking is available but not ideal for large pickup trucks, and wheelchair accessibility is limited, with a ramp located near the handicapped parking area. While the food is generally delicious and consistent, recent experiences have highlighted occasional lapses in service, such as delays in getting dishes or sides.
