Kind and gentle atmosphere with hearty food. As a Korean, the food here really made me miss my home country. The beef bulgogi and dumpling tofu soup tasted very like what I had in Korea.

I love the atmosphere here and the service was great. I was a bit disappointed in the side dishes. I felt it was overly salty and not as flavorful, especially the kimchi. The spicy beef soup didn't pack that flavor that I've had in other Korean restaurants. The bulgogli was overly oily. This was our first time here and I came here since Seoul garden wasn't open. The dumplings were good. I would give it another try and maybe come back during dinner instead of lunch.

On a road trip and found this Korean restaurant in Olympia; was very quiet at 7pm, with one other customer but it was getting late and I really wanted some Soon Dubu… except for the small size for $16.99, was not disappointed, the pork soon dubu was tasty… could have used a little more spice for my spiciness level. The spicy pork bibimbap didn’t have any vegetables other than onions… were expecting the full on bibimbap with the variety of veggies and the egg and with pork as the protein option. This was basically a bowl of rice with spicy pork on top Luckily sides came with the soon dubu so we were able to mix that in with the bibimbap. Other than that it’s impressive this restaurant has been around for 8 years.

Walking in, this place looks a little dated BUT do not let that fool you. The customer service was excellent and our server was so kind and generous. The food is delicious. We ordered the Korean pancake, spicy pork bulgogi bi bim bap, bulgogi, japchae, kimchi stew, and fried dumplings. This was more than enough for my family of four. Our server checked on us throughout our dining experience. Will definitely return often.

Excellent food, wonderfully kind and welcoming staff. Hot stone is an Olympia staple for a reason. (Pro tip: they sell the sides in bulk and the cucumber kimchi is insane)

The food is so amazingly delicious, the kimchi is so flavorfull! I got the bulgogi it was incredible. Definitely recommend this spot. Suzie was so sweet and kind and took great care of us. Will definitely come back.

Food was spectacular, service was amazing. I have no problem with the looks of the place, personally if the food is spectacular, that's all that matters. But the environment did make me feel very welcome. So in conclusion I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Getting here: I came to Hotstone on a blind suggestion and found plenty of parking on the street. We parked less than a block away and it was an easy stroll to the restaurant, but there were plenty of closer spaces, too.

The food: I was expecting great food, but when it arrived, it was exploding with so many flavors! Delicious and authentic, if you like Korean food, you will love to eat here! My favorites so far are the Budaejjigae and dumpling soup. The food arrives literally sizzling hot! Make sure to try the boba, too. The flavors are so creamy and delicious!

The service: The hospitality we received was above and beyond all the way! This is easily my favorite restaurant in the area! The authentic atmosphere is something you just have to experience. I will be back again and again!
