We drove 3 hours to try this restaurant. Best restaurant food we have had in a long time. I had a salad, which was lovely and fresh. My husband and son had a cheeseburger with lots of tillamook cheese. The ingredients made a big difference.
My wife and I were visiting Olympia and decided on Iron Rabbit for dinner one evening. We both ordered fish and chips, with hers ‘standard’ and mine the curry version. My cod was excellent, hers not so much. It was curiously tough, as though it had been overcooked. I tasted it, and it was definitely very different from mine. We certainly would have sent it back had we not been short of time. One further thing…can no one in the area make a decent, flavorful coleslaw? In three...
Their poutine is a great take on a classic dish. The demi baguette was warm, soft, and quite a good complement to the balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The curry fish and chips was gone before I could ask for a bite. High on the recommend and revisit list
