Where do I start with this one. It's the Saturday before Labor Day. My wife and I wanted to go grab some food. She ordered The Philly chicken cheesesteak And on a 1:00 to 10 she gave it a seven. I myself had the meatball and I added black, olive and banana pepper because I'm cool like that. This might sound ridiculous because I thought it was when it popped into my mind. I think I prefer Subway. The bread was far better at Meconis but the lack of seasoning and overall...
Sorry to say that my usual, egg salad sandwich only had half the eggs salad on the sandwich that it usually does, and the spices were dry and I don't think their was any oil? Does that make sense? Very disapointing. Merconis? What are you doing?
It’s always hard balancing the perspective of customer and small business - on one hand, a restaurant is part of a community, it carries memories and is the livelihood of many many ppl. Reviews threaten the very values restaurants live on and yet honest reviews are important. The atmosphere is good, the ppl are nice, the restaurant is clean and the food is fresh, but the taste is simple. Sandwiches are made in a way that is rather straight forward - the Philly taste...
