I have been a mercato loyalist for years. I have been coming here for over a decade. The last few times I have been here I have been left wanting . The food doesn’t wow like it used to, the environment feels a little tired and in need of a refresh. I still love this place so much and want to see it succeed. I just hope that they don’t become complacent and become another restaurant of the past in Olympia .

Our family recently hosted a Celebration of Life for my father in one of Mercato’s private dining spaces, and everything was wonderful. Travis was helpful and communicative throughout the planning process, and being able to set up ahead of time made the day much easier. Emily provided exceptional service—warm, gracious, and attentive from start to finish. This was our second family event at Mercato, and once again, the experience was outstanding. Thank you...

I ordered the 3-course meal. It started with eggplant. It was pretty good. I really liked the marinara sauce. The downside was the skin on the eggplant; it was very tough. The main course was the chicken penne. The flavor was good, but the pasta was undercooked, and the chicken was overcooked. The dessert was bread pudding. It was delicious. It came out warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The service was pretty good. Would I go back? Probably not.
