We hadn’t been to Pellegrino’s Italian Kitchen in a couple of years and were really looking forward to it. Getting seated was quick, only about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ended.
It took an hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, the temperatures were all over the place — some parts stone cold, others piping hot, like the dishes had been sitting half-assembled for a while. Our waitress mentioned they were training a new cook that night. Understandable things happen, but a busy Saturday night doesn’t seem like the time for it.
After we got home, I noticed several other Google reviews from the past few weeks mentioning the same thing: long waits for food. It doesn’t seem like an isolated incident, so hopefully management takes note.

I had Pellegrino's cater my wedding of 100 people back in May, and it was wonderful! The staff were very accommodating and considerate, and were very professional. They were a very budget-friendly option with amazing standards of service, while also providing great food.
Food: 10/10 - Everyone raved about how good the food was and that the Bruschetta and Antipasto appetizers were so good! Pasta was well cooked, and the sauces were phenomenal.
Service: 10/10 - We had a buffet-style dinner, so it was serve yourself, but everything was very punctual and set up beautifully. Once dinner service was done, they cleared very quickly, which I appreciated.
Overall: 10/10 - Maria in catering was very helpful and answered all of my questions directly and promptly. She even had a gluten-free portion set aside for some of my guests with food allergies which was very kind. They are very upfront and transparent about everything and very easy to work with.

It took 45 minutes to get two plates of food...that was my only issue with not alot of people eating at the time
The food is delicious and the service couldn't be better. We will definitely return.

So many choices! Ended up ordering the Chicken Marsala, the best I have ever had, will order again. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs, he raved about the meatballs.

Peligrinos is my favorite restaurant in Tumwater. Amazing experience all around. Always friendly and helpful staff. The food is extremely fresh and delicious every time. Very reasonable pricing, in my opinion, for the high quality delivered. I highly recommend.
The food is fantastic. The service is good. Be prepared the parking can be frustrating.

Food was good. However, it takes forever to get the food. Worst part? Management, never coming back because of her and never recommending this place. She needs to learn how to serve better and fix her attitude.
Came here for dinner a while back to try it out since we just moved into the neighborhood. We didn't mind the initial 20 minute wait for a table, but after ordering, our food took over 40 minutes to arrive. Because of the long delay, we ended up asking our waitress to pack it to go. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a quick bite.
As for the food, the portions were good, but the dishes were a bit dry. My fettuccine could have used more sauce, and while my wife enjoyed her spaghetti, she also wished it hadn't been so light on the sauce. Even though they are within walking distance, we probably won't be going back anytime soon.

Our family enjoyed dinner at Pellegrino’s last week. The music and lighting was soft and soothing — perfect for conversation — and our server was top-notch! We enjoyed the northern chicken parm, ravioli, and chicken Alfredo, and we also shared two slices of dessert — a chocolate mousse cake and a raspberry cheesecake. Yummy!! Everything was truly scrumptious…including a refreshing strawberry-lemonade…and we definitely needed to go for a walk afterward! We’ll be back!

The food is excellent and I would give it a start five star for the food alone. However, the last two times I have been there the food was served lukewarm and not hot.

We were there to celebrate a birthday. Our server was so attentive and helpful. I wish I had gotten his name. He was amazing and he helped our guest of honor feel celebrated. In fact, she mentioned him and the bartender restoring her faith in humanity.... that says a lot when you consider all that is going on in the world right now. The birthday girl struggles with some very heavy feelings around this time of year, so it made it exceptionally special to have such great service. Thank you!!
