Such a cool little spot! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a classy, thoughtful, quality cocktail experience. The owner (who is also a badass bartender by the way) built the business from the ground up on her own and is clearly responsible for how flawlessly it has turned out. If you want some fresh air and a quiet chat, the lush back patio is a great amenity with heaters and plenty of seating. I ordered a dirty vodka martini and it was perfection ?

We sauntered over from another establishment to get some adult beverages per a recommendation from a couple of patrons there. The trainee and veteran bartender were welcoming and kind. I knew what I wanted (extra dirty martini) and my wife got a suggested cocktail that she absolutely loved(something with coconut water ?). We both ordered the same thing twice and sat in the absolutely gorgeous patio that permeates fresh jasmine flowers that surround the seating area. Looking forward to trying the food next time we visit, as we did not prepare for a cash-only spot.

06/22/2024: Cash only spot. After dinner at The Oyster House we (group of 4) popped in to the Mark for some cocktails. Cute spot! Love the ambiance. Warm, inviting dining room and the back patio is large. We weren't especially hungry but I had to try the pizza and really liked it. Think foccacia style crust.
Originally ordered a Painkiller but the bartender wasn't familiar and after I mentioned the ingredients she recommended her in house cocktail Lady from Shanghai. Really delicious! Also ordered lemon drop and mojito. Everyone was satisfied with their drinks.
Seems like a really nice place for small bites and drinks to hang out with friends.

The atmosphere is cozy and romantic, the pizza is top notch, and the owner is sweet as pie. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the pizza options!

The Mark has recently changed up their program, dedicating their menu to super delicious Roman-style pizzas, unlike the pizza you'll get anywhere else in the area, plus salads and desert options. They always have vegetarian and vegan options, too. The atmosphere is excellent, casual but romantic, with a beautiful shady patio for the summer, and a nicely-stocked bar. I always nonchalantly ask Lisa, the owner, to make me a spritz, no further specifications, and she always delivers something amazing. Plus where else are you going to get pizza prepared by a genuine Sicilian with decades of authentic Italian cooking experience under his belt?? The Mark is truly a hidden gem in little ol' Olympia, and completely unique for our area. I truly love it!

Happy Cow reserves 5-star reviews for 100% vegan restaurants, which The Mark is not, but there's definitely enough vegan options to make it well worth a visit!
A great spot for a casual night out or date night! The pizza and cocktails we ordered were great! The atmosphere is fun, we can’t wait to enjoy the patio this summer. It’s cash only, but we came prepared. There is an on site ATM if needed. We were shocked by our total bill, definitely a great value. Their prices include tax. We will absolutely be going back!

My husband and I are both vegan and were pleasantly surprised by the vegan options at The Mark. The pizza arrabbiata was our favorite. The vibe here is really nice - feels like you are hanging out in the living room of one of your friends, music just the right level for conversation, and comfortable seating. The cocktail menu is great and we tried several different drinks - all tasty and balanaced. We will definitely come back here, and look forward to enjoying the patio during the spring and summer!

Gosh, I have so much to say, where to begin?TLDR Version: FUTURE customers.... Food options are individual slices of pizza, or small side salads. You won't have table service, and will be ordering at the bar. It is CASH-ONLY. You may experience strange customer-service behavior, and weird excuses for things.Overall, I was really confused here. I was expecting a high-end experience, but it really wasn't... at all.The vibe and atmosphere IS 10/10. There is nothing as cute and stylish in Olympia. It's SUCH a beautiful, relaxing space. But the experience.... Order at the counter, only small portions available, cash only.... Makes me so confused. It does not match the environment. I was expecting to spend $$$ on a fancy dinner here, but the menu didn't provide the opportunity to do so. Drinks on the other hand were $$$ -- overpriced. But they were also underpoured, and not very good.My partner ordered an old fashioned and instead of using sugar or a simple syrup for a sweetener, the bartender used a dribble of cherry juice, stating that it wouldn't give him cancer... odd.We left soon after ordering a pair of drinks and a slice of pizza because... I wanted dinner and quickly realized we couldn't really get that here. This would be a perfect spot for... Happy hour? Lunch? But they don't open until 5:30... Dinner time. Soooo why aren't there large portion options? For example, I would have loved to have ordered a large salad entree and easily paid... $20-25, but I could only order a $6 very small side salad. Like... What? If they are already making small salads... couldn't they make entree sized salads too?And actually is it open at 5:30 or is it 6? They have 2 signs outside the building with different open hours...? That's confusing.I saw this other couple (younger) in the restaurant who presumably were on a date night... They looked incredibly disappointed. I imagined they wanted dinner too.The pictures on Google maps of food items that aren't pizza are no longer accurate. Also, the lit up open sign should be raised higher so that people can actually see it from the road.
Outstanding environment and the service was exceptional. Lisa helped organize a special surprise party for my wife's birthday and everything turned out very nice. The setting is great and the food/drinks were good too.

This used to be a fine dining restaurant but has changed into a cool, vibey spot. I really enjoyed the food, drinks, and especially the service. My friend and I came in looking for a quiet place to get a drink. Our host (the owner) was so kind in making our drinks and then letting us stay a bit past closing time, and even offered us pizza if we promised to be quick. We sat outside in the covered patio, enjoying our food and drinks, catching up, and the occasion chatting with the owner. I'd definitely go back when I'm in the area next.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan pizzas were delicious - and I'm a carnivore!

The Mark used to be a fine-dining restaurant before COVID; now it's a more casual cafe-style Italian pizza place while still maintaining the ambience of a fine-dining restaurant. There were several vegan pizza options (including vegan cheese!), and a few other vegan options, like a cold pasta salad, an arugula salad, and sautéed spinach. They're open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 5:30-11pm. The back patio is so pretty, very romantic, but with a casual cafe vibe. We chatted with the owner for a bit, who was lovely. I was happy to find a vegan friendly option late at night on a weekend, and the atmosphere just made the experience top notch.
Went to try it out. Only have a limited number of pizzas. They are not made to order, they are made in morning and reheated when you order. When we got there, there were two choices left. The other couple with us ordered the "spicy" one and couldn't eat it. Ours was not good either, dry.
