Best fried oysters in town. Service good. Full bar and more than a few brews on tap. Minus one star- 3% fee for using a credit card. They do accept checks.

Decided it was necessary to leave a review as I do believe it’s important for the community to know. We attended on Mother’s Day 05/11/25 to get a drink and some steamed clams. My family of three were told they could get us in, sat us down and we were ignored for about 10-15 mins at our table. Finally we were able to place our order, received our clams and beverages. We shared the clams between the three of us, and noted that they didn’t look like local clams or something was very different, some of the clam shells looked so different but we figured it was just us and maybe they have a new provider. Nope. Last night, I ended up in an ambulance to the Emergency Room because I was having severe stomach pain, on top of throwing up, and actually lost consciousness 4 because of what I was going through. Turns out my daughter also started to get sick and threw up everywhere and my husband was also very sick. It was a severe food poisoning, and the reason my stomach hurt so bad was due to my intestines having severe spasms sending me into almost like a body, “lock down”
. All from the clams not being handled properly. I called and asked to speak with a manager and they said they would get back but I felt I urge. I also noticed this isn’t the first time someone experienced food poisoning from them. I do not recommend them at all.

Blasphemy ~ you no longer offer fried Olympia Oysters ~ even though the recipe is sealed on one of the tables. Going to Olympia Oyster house to consume the Olympia Oyster basket (yes it was $20) was a 'tradition' for my family ~ You've taken that away from us, sadly

First visit: be sure to order the "drunken chef" and sub mashed potatoes for the rice.
This dish is full of wonderful flavors and like a hearty Cioppino (chunks fish along with marinated whole mushrooms). A serious winner.

Their clam chowder is good and enjoys a high ratio of clams (surprising eh?)

The downside may be its atmosphere: a large open floorplan leading to ear-numbing volume of music and self-absorbed patrons. Ours was a cold rainy day and the restaurant was equally cold inside.

Would go back for the food.

I have been a frequent customer for years and over the last six months something has totally changed. Poor service, non-welcoming atmosphere and like I am imposition. I left yesterday without giving a tip and later was sick from the food. So sad.

WORST STAFF, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Have been here a few times in the past and always was super good. But went here over the weekend and it was the WORST experience ever. This place has gone down hill. The worst customer service from start to finish. Don't expect your wait staff to be present or ask if you need anything additional. Two members of our party had something wrong with their food, mentioned it to the staff and they did nothing. These same two people needed up very sick within a few hours. I am not sure what has changed, but the staff have no personality, no wait staff skills, and really show they don't care your a paying customer. We even said it was a birthday and all they did was throw a chocolate tort down and walk away oh and charged for it which is fine, but not what has occured in the past. And a member of our party left because they were so uncomfortable with the whole situation. Needless to say we will not return and we will never recommend again. And we have a ton of clients come in from out of the area and always recommend them, but we will not do this moving forward.

Had a wonderful evening with my husband tonight. We had a small concern with our dinner and the manager was at our table side quickly and made everything prefect and went above and beyond for us. The bartender/ server was incredible and had such a great personality. Thank you again for an amazing meal and service tonight. We will be back.

The panko fried halibut used to be great but now it’s some giant deep fried blob with too much breading. What a waste of fish.
