So I want to give this a 5 star because Uptown has always been my favorite in Oly, but the salmon tacos came out kinda cold (plates are cold). The corn salsa must’ve replaced the mango salsa from a while back? Anyway, the corn is sad and obviously canned. With prices rising and seeing the food sorta meh, it’s a bit disappointing. One entree and a ginger beer = $35.

Super fun murder mystery. A little bumbled and struggled to flow from time to time. We were there in a hot day and so it was hot but it was fun and entertaining. The salad I had was outstanding and the dessert was too tart but well executed. The mystery story was engaging but pretty simple. Totally would do it again.
If you are looking to do a graduation party, wedding reception, memorial gathering, reunion or any type of a gathering around 100 people less, the Uptown Grill is the ideal place to rent. They have multiple spaces for different size events at very affordable prices. They have a great menu to cater your event on sight. I hosted a wedding reception here last week and was highly impressed with the staff and the customer service we received from the get go. From the GM Kaitlyn who was at my event of 100 folks, to her staff Allie, Amanda, Hannah and Michelle who were simply top notch. They worked as a team the entire night to make sure the wedding party and guests had enough food, drinks and desert. They also have a good sound system to hook up a microphone and music. Overall, I give the Uptown Grill in Olympia an A+ to the staff and the atmosphere of the restaurant. Over and out! Sgt. Mike
