Dining room is drafty and feels like most of the time you are sitting in a traffic path. The last time I ate there was their mother's day brunch and had the chicken and waffles. Both seemed like they were not made by hand, rather was made from frozen. By contrast, at Cove nearby their Chicken Fried Chicken is clearly made by hand. Anyway, overpriced. Chicken Pot Pie is on point though.

I gave this restaurant 4 stars because I've only tried two dishes ...The Uptown Grill is a great place for casual, up scale dining. From steaks, pasta, to pork belly tacos, it has it all. My husband tried the beef stroganoff and I tried the 16 oz ribeye and both were delicious. The restaurant is also kid friendly and the bar staff is super friendly and great at making custom drinks and menu recommendations. Service was top notch and we never went without. My husband ordered the beef stroganoff and I ordered the 16 oz ribeye and both were absolutely delicious! They have various cocktails as well as mocktails, beer, wine and champagne. I would say it's one of the few good places you can get a good steak in the area and some good home cooked style meals. I mean who doesn't love a good pot pie!

Environment is acceptable, honestly the tiered approach is strange. If you are on the railing in the upper tier your ass is level with people sitting down trying to eat on the other side of the railing.
The pot pie was honestly bland and lacked flavor, I am not sure if the chef is against adding any type of spices.
The grain bowls are nice, avoid the steak Mediterranean bowl. The meat utilized islow quality and was very tough.
Fries are homemade and were really the only upside to the meal.

Came here on Monday evening. Both the food and service was excellent. I ordered the hummus plate, salmon fish and chips, and a rice bowl. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Olympia.
More like upcharge grill. Good food and drink, but adding "kitchen scratch" fees to avoid showing the true price of your meals is not cool (even if you sneakily hide it on your menu).
