Memorial Day weekend 2025.
Rooms are bare bones. Bring your chairs as you will need a place to sit. On our visit, the Wind jammer restaurant was ok, fried food and short hours, no breakfast. The visitor's on our visit in the motel were very inconsiderate and were extremely loud with their kids. Opening and slamming the doors a lot of the morning @ 0900, afternoon, and evening around 2030. They could be heard being loud through the walls as well. It was not a very good experience this go around.

Absolutely a gem on our Coast! Great amenities and friendly staff

The employees are friendly and helpful, though they do seem they are short staffed. The facility could use some TLC. The pet friendly rooms (king suite) are decent. I think if they would get rid of the carpeting and instead have tile/linoleum in place the pet smell would be reduced.
All that said I would come back.

We love the accommodations, the proximity to the beach and the cost. Our only concern is no one ever answers the front desk phone number. We will definitely be back!

What a memorable and wonderful place.
I grew up coming here every summer with family and even with friends when I got older. This place puts military familys first. They are kind and considerate.
Walking or short driving distance from a quiet and beautiful beach.
Great Cafe and diner.
You can rent lots of things from bikes to beach activities.
They have a movie theater, bowling ally, Whale watching tower, playground, and bonfire pit.
The homes are cozy, spacious, and perfect for large familys (or small!)

Many MANY memories here. I will always be grateful for this place.

The staff at the Resort were very friendly and helpful. We went for New Years Eve and the restaurant staff were awesome, food was so good and fast. We stayed in a cabin and the views are beautiful, the cabin was clean. Compared to an airbnb, it doesn't have all of the extras, but it has basic needs like towels, dishes, blankets, etc. Overall great stay. We went to Seabrook and I wasn't impressed. It had Stepford Wives vibe. I like old school surf town vibes which is what Pacific Beach is.

Use to be one of our favorites RV stops, not this time. Not the same amenities as before, and Pacific Beach town seems to be derroritating.

Stopped in with the family while taking a scenic drive. Just stopped to eat in the little restaurant. Walked in and vibe kinda had the hospital cafeteria feel and look. Lady who was working counter was sitting at table eating upon arrival, but got up to take out order. Would have been nice to see her wash her hands tho. Wife and I got the burgers, mine was pretty decent, got the extra Patty and bacon on it, wife's wasn't as good due to bun was pretty stiff. Kids both got fish and chips and neither liked them much, tried a bite from each of their baskets and fish didn't seem fully cooked and way more batter than fish. For the 4 of us our bill was close to 90 .. lessen learned not to stop in there on our next trip through there...

Get here at 1230p and the receptionist tells me to come back at 3pm during check in. I come back at 3pm and there are no rooms available and to come back in 30min…. Long story short, im still outside, its almost 5pm, I still dont have a room, they blamed COVID then they backtracked and said it was staffing issues. The reason I stay at this place is because its far away from the reality I want to be in just to be right where I started. If it wasnt for the location, this place would be out of business. Probably wont be staying here again.

We will not return. Watch the videos to see why. This camp site is in the middle of nowhere WA. You have to go pretty far down the road to get to the public access point for beach. There’s no trees or anytime of vegetation for privacy between tents. We tried to get coffee at the MWR gift shop one time, but there was no staff available to service us. There was only one staff member at check in counter, and she had 2-3 ppl in line she was dealing with.

On the plus side, I will say the showers are adequate.
