Staff was great, but they had to deal with a lot of problems with the hotel itself. I was there for a conference and a lot of the attendees had to have their room keys changed several times because they would stop working. I had trouble with mine but managed to get it to work. It did look like the hotel was going through repairs. So maybe the keys are a part of the upgrades. I was disappointed I couldn't charge my wine to my room because the stand-alone bar was a vendor.

Amazing front desk. Awesome service. We really liked the extra mile they went to accommodate us. We are looking forward to only staying here while visiting in the future. Staff took time to help us with luggage. They made a point to call and make sure we were comfortable.

WOW! Just WOW! Unfortunately, the pandemic closed most buffets down, apparently permanently. Fortunately, Pasco’s Red Lion has risen from the ashes. They brought in a new chef specifically to ramp up their cuisine, and HOLY COW did they nail it. They raised the bar to the point their Thanksgiving 2022 holiday buffet topped every buffet we’ve found in our road trips all over the lower 48 states. We’ve never before seen such a consistently superior array of veggies, meats, desserts, salads, fruit, and sides featuring off-the-chart flavors, textures, freshness, variety, and tummy-rubbing pleasure. Diners from health nuts to trough feeders — both apply to me — can satisfy any appetite in awe. Your next opportunity for this fabulous, special holiday treat is Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023. They told me reservations will be available somewhere around mid-March*. Don’t miss this opportunity. They will accommodate, pamper, and please you and your tastebuds whether there are two or two dozen people at your table. * Unfortunately, their website doesn’t even mention their holiday buffets, their phone system is among the worst I’ve ever encountered, and it took me hours to paste this review. On the rare occasions that anyone answers any of their phone numbers, they’re unfamiliar with the buffet and/or give incorrect phone numbers (e.g., the Columbia Basin College Security Police phone number) for information about it. This must cost the hotel and the restaurant a tremendous amount of business. Some employee needs to bring his kid in there and get their act together. One exception has been Sandra, who, when I can reach her, gets answers for me. In the meantime, go to their Seasons Restaurant website to find out more about their smaller daily buffets at 11 AM (not 11:30). Each weekday offers a specific cuisine including at least two very good main entrees plus many sides priced from the basics right up to prime rib, as you choose. I’d catch those daily buffets more often if their desserts weren’t so fantastic or if I had more will power. I have absolutely no connection with the Red Lion. I simply love to eat outstanding food — the more the better — and their holiday buffets top my list. It’s too bad they’re so secretive about it. They should be shouting it from the rooftops.

Lobby is massive, staff was friendly, and included a good hot breakfast. Room had all the regular amenities. Close to the Pasco airport. Plan to stay there again! Exterior doors were supposed to use key card to unlock but they were unlocked without using the card. Some of the buildings do not have an elevator so it's not for everyone.

We went to the Grizzly Bar on November 2nd to have some dinner and drinks. It turned out to be Karaoke night and it was very entertaining. The bartenders (One Gal and one guy) didn’t seem very happy that we were there, we felt like we were really putting them out, by ordering dinner and drinks. The waitress that kept walking by was friendly and engaging. We won’t sit at the bar next time, we will get a table and hopefully have the nice waitress. Would have givin’ this bar a five star rating, if it weren’t for the angry bartenders. Everyone else in the bar was having fun though and we had a good time as well. It’s a great hotel to stay at when flying out of Pasco. Very convenient!

Our experience was very nice even if it was really cold outside. The people were great and helped us many ways. One gal even led us to our room. One lady got me a military discount for my 34 years in the Air Force. Only thing, the rooms really need some update as they look very outdated.

I was disappointed with several things at the Red Lion. We had a conference there and the food wasn’t labeled being that it was buffet style serving. There were so many flies it made it uncomfortable to eat in the ballroom so I opted to eat other places. The bathroom weren’t kept stocked and clean. The rooms were questionable about the cleanliness, stated by many of the conference participants. I stayed at the Best Western and I’m glad I did.

The hotel is definitely very tired and the management is not interested in keeping up the appearances of the hotel. The floor was dirty in passageway and elevator when I arrived on Wednesday and was never cleaned before I left of Sunday. The shuttle never arrived to collect me from the airport after waiting 15 minutes, so I walked and in fact I was there before the shuttle left the property. However it was the bar, that gave me the greatest concern. The first night we ate there (party of 5 seniors) it was Karaoke night and despite poor attendance (maybe 4 other patrons and only the DJ singing) they would not turn the volume down. The next night we are again a party of mainly seniors, this time 8 of us. It was comedy night and we had no desire to listen to the show, but there was nowhere else to eat, so we had to endure. The comedian was not funny in my opinion - first line was "who here is on drugs?", second line" Who has cocaine with them?" We ate our meal and had drinks a bottle of wine between 5 of us, a cocktail and 2 soft drinks. As we were talking amongst ourselves and not paying attention to the comedy show, the comedian called us C***s. Having paid our bill and got our second bottle of wine, we prepared to move to the breakfast area, to finish our drinks, as we left the comedian called us C***s again. The person who ordered his second cocktail, received Worcestershire sauce over ice, instead of a makers mark Martini - this now became a health and safety issue, due to the fact Worcestershire sauce contains anchovies - so had the person had a fish allergy, it would not have been a pretty picture. Despite writing a letter to the Manager of the hotel and the corporate headquarters (Sonesta), I have not even had the courtesy of a response. So take your patronage elsewhere.

No grab rails in showers except handicapped rooms are equipped grab rails. Complamentry breakfast was good but seems there is a lack of silverware available. Prime rib dinners lunch was excellent.. Front desk must get all individual information correct.

Excellent staff. The restaurant with complimentary breakfast and prime rib lunch was very good. The pool and hours for it are family friendly. The cleaning staff was efficient. The front of the hotel looks excellent. The back rooms and that area, need renovation. Overall a good place to stay.

Old drab motel as we walked in we noticed how un updated this place is. Carpets change color and motifs randomly. Thank goodness the room had a wood floor. Bedding is really old and very worn. Super soft bed that creaks as you try and get comfortable. Pillows must have been purchased 40 years ago. The shower tub did not drain so when you showered you also made a bath. We needed two beds since we were 4 but only got 3 towels. I tried to call the front desk but the phones rang busy for hours. Finally went to front desk asked for towels and the room cleaned they said they would take care of it but it was not done. Very disappointing. We even got the newer part of the hotel with a view of the pool and hot tub that was not filled. The pool is old and in need of repair. Not sure how this place got a 4.6 rating. I would not give it a 1 star. Stay away there are much better options for $166 a night.

We stayed here one night and parked our car in the lot while flying out of Pasco, Washington. On our arrival, we went to the Grizzley Lounge, in spite of the state-wide mask mandate, no one, including wait staff was not wearing masks. When we returned to Pasco and requested the van shuttle, an hour later it still had not arrived. I called three times. I was told it will get there but might be another 15 minutes. The lady answering just could not care less that we were standing in 28 degree temps waiting. We finally got a cab and paid $17 to get to the hotel a mile away. They probably shouldn't advertise the airport shuttle if it is that unreliable.

The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. They answered our questions about the airport opening time each morning snd offered to set up the shuttle for us. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We have a great stay and will use the Red lion again when we fly.
