We hadn’t been to this place in a while and we were welcomed by Luis. He was amazing and provided top tier service. He was professional, helpful, and made sure everyone was happy with their pizza options. This guy needs a raise!
My friend and I had the lunch buffet.It was good.At first the pizza selection wasn't good,and mostly just a few slices of each pizza that wasn't the freshest.But they had it filled up in short order.The only thing I would say is that I don't feel it was worth $40 for 2 of us with beverages.
When we travel, my wife & I used to hit Izzy's Pizza in any town that had one. When I heard we had a local pizza buffet, we absolutely had to see if it scratched the itch that Izzy's left behind when they went out of business.
Not only did Shakey's meet that standard, they surpassed it spectacularly. The staff were amazing; attentive, cordial, and genuinely interested in our experience. The manager on duty (wish I could remember her name)...
