Have driven by Vega's many times on the way to Vancouver and the coast, finally stopped! What a treasure Javier and Bernice's place is! It was early AM so we had breakfast burritos - Hot, Tasty and Plentiful. Their place is like home: welcoming, clean, simple and friendly. We will be back and you should as well!
We happened to stop for quick lunch at Vega’s while traveling on Hwy14 between MaryHill and Umatilla. We were pleasantly surprised by the charming character of the dining area. We requested whatever food was the fastest. Immediately chips and salsa were placed in front of us and a few minutes later, the 4 street tacos and a serving of rice and beans.
