“I stopped to get out of the storm. Come for the view.... The sky was spacious and full of storm, then clouds and sun. Come for the modelo too, not draft, but still fabulous.... Pass on the food. But if you have a beer have a little something.”
“We stopped early in the morning for some coffees for our 12 hour drive. We were immediately welcomed by the nicest human in the world. He gave us samples & picked out some coffee flavours for us. Amazing service, amazing coffee & an amazing breakfast sandwich. Will 10000% stop again if we are ever in the area. ”
“We love this authentic Mexican/American food and the staff are so welcoming and personable. The food is excellent. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu! Our favorite little restaurant ❤️Kid-friendliness: Our grandkids love to go with us to GFR. They love the food and shakes.”
“The food is really homemade, I recommend it and believe me, I am a daily traveler, I spend many miles on the road and I can say with certainty that few places like this excellent seasoning of the food.”
“5 menu items. Quesadillas, Tortas, Papusas, Burritos and Tacos. Traditional meat choices. The location is good with fair access right off the interstate. Truck and trailer parking right across the street.I would have given it 5 stars but there is no menu, no prices, no listing of meat options or descriptions of what is in the various menu options (i.e. what is in the burrito or total or quesadilla).”
“What a gem. Don't sleep on this cafe shop when in town. We were passing through town and needed coffee bad. The baristas asked all the right questions and made great drinks. I think a couple of well placed signs would make this spot easier to find. My wife and I will be stopping on our way back home.”
“food and service for really good. My half of biscuit and gravy was extremely large and also came with hash brown. I could not finish it. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend this place.”
“I call ahead and it is ready for me when I get there. Their burritos are huge. I get the chicken. It has beans, rice, lettuce, onion and cilantro, Oh and cheese which I can not have. The green sauce makes it the bomb.”
“Awesome stay, great desk staff, clean room and a very nice 3 mile river walking path. I visited on a Thursday and the hotel resteraunt and bar closed rather early (830pm)..”
“It the only bar in Boardman. Nice little bar and seems like a friendly place to get know the locals if you want. No live music but they have a pool table at least.”
“I have been coming to Macario's for a year now and have never been disappointed with their picadillo (shredded beef). Their salsa was ok but they would offer a civiche style along with it I never enjoyed but today something must have changed. Their food is on a whole new level! Their salsas are amazing, the flavor and care in the meal is divine. I absolutely recommend coming here if y9u want authentic Mexican food for a fair price.”
“The Adobaa tacos were good, asada was ok, but the chorizo was not how you would prepare it for a taco. The "carnitas" was shredded pork. All on all they were ok, but I'd still prefer The other tacos on this corner. The tacos were $3 a piece and tye portions were good.”
“The service was very polite and quick. Good tacos, flavorful meat. The only qualm was the lime wedge packed with our to -go had gone bad. Not a deal -breaker by any means. Will go back again ?”
“This place is excellent and I’m relatively picky. I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always fresh and hot. Taqitos, enchiladas, carne asada always great. Hot and mild salsa with warm chips always at least good. Rice is a bit bland, but it’s rice so…Anyways I just feel that this place should have at least a 4.3-4.6 rating.”
“Tacos were amazing. Al pastor & langua, was mad perfectly there, home made white corn tortillas were perfect, They did not shred nor brake apart. The sopa was absolutely delicious, and took me back to when I was a kid and had my first one. 10 out of 10!!!”
“I am so glad poppy's pizza is in town. Most small towns this size don't have a pizza place so I count us super lucky. Sometimes you just need a pizza and you want it cooked by someone else without having to drive 1/2hr home after you pick it up. The pizza's are pretty good. I didn't find them as greasy as some other more well know pizza establishments and that was nice. I like the variety and we have thoroughly enjoyed them on our family pizza night. I also enjoy the fun sitting area. It's cute and cozy and it's one of the reasons I love a small town. I found the pricing to be fair. The gas $ to drive into hermiston to get a cold (by the time we get home) pizza would probably cost more. Thanks for existing poppy's pizza we NEED you once a week”
“There is no menu posted when you drive up and there was one lady working both windows, so when we got up there and needed menus (we are from out of town) that meant we got pushed back in the line and had to wait quite a while to get our drinks, but that lady was beautiful and sweet and she was working hard, so if you go there and have to wait a little longer... oh well! It ain't the worst thing that will ever happen to you, by far. I got a cold brew with heavy cream and it was very tasty! My demanding friend asked for all kinds of things, as she usually does, and she got them all with a smile. Thank you, pretty lady, whoever you are!”
“This place has excellent creamy teas! The lavender creamy tea is my absolute favorite. Pictured here is the Thai iced tea and the chili cheese fries. Bit like fair food but huge portions for the price. I want to try some of their desserts. Also, not a huge fan of boba but I like the boba here.”
“Far and away the best pizza in Boardman and now that Ordnance Bewing is closed permanently the best spot for brews. The ? crust is pretty good. Only sad face is that they rewrite that the base sauce is the same if ordering a half and half pizza. They have a lot of custom sauces like Slanktoberfest.Of course the obvious solution is just ask them to substitute one of the sauces so it is uniform on both haves. They won't suggest that.I do wish the German pizza had a little more sauerkraut though.”
“A little awkward on the drive thru route, just give it a second. Coffee good, breakfast burrito better. And have them add gravy, takes it to OMG. It's a typical coffee shop, prices are right, tastes are good, staff moves like they have a purpose in life, good choice for your morning break.”
“They Open at 8am- make sure your trailer is clean or they will make you sweep it for pick up! Checked in 8am for 10am appointment. Loaded and Rolling at 9:10am. You can sleep overnight on door 3-4 for shipping! Great place!”
“Amazing team work and delicious sandwiches! There were 2 employees and 8 people in line ahead of me and online orders coming in. They were efficient, friendly and smiling. Give these 2 a raise!Vegetarian options: Veggie delight sub or saladParking: Additional parking across the street for large trucks (there was a fire dept truck there), RVs, trailers, etc.”
“Miyukis is back! Food was fantastic and service is great too! We ordered 2 super burritos and nachos, all were cooked to perfection. The fact they are open 7 days a week now and are 9-7pm is a welcome indeed. Red sauce and green sauces are sooo yummy. 100% recommend!”
“Best food in Boardman, I work near by and I get food every day from all over Boardman but yet to find somewhere with better food. They have a beautiful view of the river from there restaurant and the people are very nice and helpful. This is the second review i have ever made but i had to say something. Try the hickory beacon burger and you wont be disappointed.”
“?? Get ready for a wild flavor adventure! ?So, picture this: I walked into C and D, and the aroma of sizzling buffalo meat hit me like a flavor tornado! ?️? I ordered the legendary BOzo burger, and let me tell you, it was like a party in my mouth! ? The buffalo meat was so juicy and tender, it practically melted in my mouth with each bite. ?The toppings were out of this world! ?? They piled on crispy bacon, tangy pickles, melted cheese, and a special sauce that had me doing a happy dance. ? And the bun? It was so soft and perfectly toasted, it hugged the buffalo patty like a warm blanket. ?❤️But wait, there's more! ? The best part? The friendly staff at C and D made the whole experience even better. They were like burger superheroes, ready to save the day with deliciousness and great service. ♀️ ♂️So, if you're up for a flavor adventure and a burger that will make your taste buds dance, head over to C and D for their amazing BOzo burger. “My husband and I stopped in here while traveling, and it is a gem!! Food was delicious, service was great, it was clean, and very easy to get in and out of. Plus, you have a great view of the Columbia River while you’re eating!”
