We had such an amazing stay here that we were sad we hadn’t booked for more than one night. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The ambience in the lobby was so inviting and the sets of Adirondack benches all along the shoreline were so delightful. Hope to come back and stay again
The lodge itself was beautiful. The room cost was way overpriced. My room was dirty. There was a big spider in the bathroom, and I had a moldy towel. There was no TV, no frig or microwave or iron. It’s was like clamping but for $400 a night. The lodge resturant was also overpriced. Breakfast for one was $30.
Let's start with the positive. Excellent location, right on the water with sundowns that knock you out. The restaurant kitchen is second to none, fantastic food. The staff does their job well, professional and friendly, yet I feel like this place has a leadership problem. Tried to get a one hour late check out (yes this is a request for a 60 minute extension) and front desk people are not allowed to offer this, only management or the night auditor on duty.
