About Sunflower Tastes Deli & Bakery

Sunflower Tastes Deli & Bakery is a delightful find, with employees who are passionate about their business and offer personal experience and advice. The store supports Ukraine and carries all kinds of eastern european food, including three different kinds of Qvas, all good. The pastrami is the best ever had, available in both turkey and beef, from a homade recipie. The baked goods are fantastic, with sourdough cookies, scones, and fruit hand pies that are handmade. The chocolate chip scones are the best ever, and the sourdough breads are phenomenal, rich in flavor and dense. The hot bar has soup and select entrées of the week. There is another whole room in the Wharf with frozen goodies, eastern european alcohols, and candies. Outdoor patio seating near the water is a perk, with a view of the bay. The woman working at the counter is genuine and helpful, ensuring customers are watered up. Catering is available, with Ukrainian/Russian food that tastes like home, including a traditional wedding bread (karavai). The staff is very friendly and care about the deli/bakery business. This is a great place to stop and grab food, whether coming into Port Angeles through the ferry or passing through to the national parks. A MUST try kind of place.

Just visited Sunflower Tastes on the 2nd floor of the Warf downtown PA. What an amazing little bakery and shop. Left with a wonderful bag of treats and goodies! Talked with the owner for a bit. She is very knowledgeable about the items she offers. If you haven't yet, you have to visit this gem hidden in Port Angeles. I will definitely be back!
Very friendly place. everything I've eaten there has been fantastic
Both the deli and the bakery were such a delightful find for my husband and I today! It’s rare to find employees who are so passionate about their business, and a wealth of personal experience and advice on the products available. I bought 3 boxes of Ukrainian teas to enjoy with my daughters bc i couldn’t choose just one! We had the borscht and a variety of other tastes that were so new to us that I can’t even recall the names! What I remember is knowing that I was eating...read full review
