Doing work in the area and Google pointed me here. Looks like an old county store in a small town, rustic decor, wood floors. Plenty of tables with views of the water. I had "The Bomb" which is a big cathead biscuit, with a chicken fried steak, egg in the middle and covered with some of the best gravy I've eaten. Service was friendly and spot on. Bring your appetite.

We took out of town guests. My fingers were crossed because this is such a great place, but had a poor service experience last winter, well everything was wonderful. We were seated promptly, nice and professional servers, prompt delivery of delicious food!

The food was pretty good. The sandwich was stacked high with turkey, bacon and tomatoes. Basic ingredients, nothing fancy. I had the pear salad which was good at times but the dressing had way too much mustard. Still edible but would have gone from edible to awesome with half the mustard. I'm thinking I got the bottom of the jar. Location is great with good views.
