This historic place is interesting. The hotel room we stayed in was on the first floor, but only accessible from the outside path. It had a nice view of the marina and lawn off of the veranda.
The room could use an update and some better decor to reflect the history of the location. The room was clean and fairly comfortable. Outside temperature at night was in the low 40s.
Food and drinks: We had brunch on Sunday. The wild samon BLT was very good. My wife's scrambled eggs and bacon weren't very warm.
Noteworthy details: Small art gallery on the esecond floor featuring local artists.

The Old Alcohol Plant is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of being part of a beautiful wedding here, and I was blown away. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is stunning, with a gorgeous view that creates the perfect atmosphere for any celebration. Whether you’re hosting a wedding, party, or special event, this place is top-notch. Highly recommend!
If you are looking for a place to have a VERY quiet peaceful sleep this is the place. The room was nice and comfortable with a great bed and nice pillows. Great lights and electrical outlet at bedside for all you needs. And the fireplace is a wonderful addition. The water view was nice and pleasant. The staff were all great and helpful. We had brunch in the restaurant and the food was good. They have done a good job of taking an old historic building and making it into a nice location. To top it off they do a lot of great work with the community for those in need. The only suggestion was below our room was the gardening and work area with a lot is stuff everywhere. It would be easy to build a cover over this area and clean up some.
Rooms: Loved the fireplace and how quiet and comfortable the room was.
Food and drinks: Food was very good.

You're owner or manager denied people a job if they were not vaccinated. Now it has just come out what you did was illegal!!! You need to lawyer up now .
The setting is unbeatable. Sundown in the restaurant was spectacular. The hostess, Jamie, treated us like VIP's. From the Seafood Dip Appetizer and half-price wine (It was Wine Down Wednesday) through to our amazing seafood meals, we were in culinary heaven. All the fresh lettuces and salad veggies were such a treat. Thank you for a terrific evening in Spirits Bar and Grill.

Really unique place, not going to work for people who get use to chain hotels stay. However it is extremely nice place to stay. This business doing a lot of helping community. In the restaurant all vegetables that served are from their own garden. Rooms have bay views, people who work in OAP super nice and helpful, food cook right and taste well, beds comfortable. Rooms can use some updates. Definitely will stop one day again.

Got a suite with a couch bed. The couch bed sheets were clearly used and not changed (full of hair and dirt). We called the after-hours number and 20mins later the maintenance guy showed up to make the bed lol. The couch bed mattress was old and thin and the support frame was cutting into my head, back and legs. I managed to sleep for 3 hours by lying width-wise. I respectfully mentioned that on checkout and the response was: "We hope that next time you stay with us we will have fixed these issues." Unacceptable conditions ; spend your money somewhere else.

The lobby, 3rd floor hallway, and elevator each had their own unique and very off putting smell. The room was acceptable, but the smells throughout the building made me uncomfortable. I spent as much time as I could outside. Fortunately, the view was nice.
I stayed only one night, and I would not stay there again.

We agree with other reviewers that the rooms could use some updates but despite that we would stay here again - the beautiful gardens and stunning water views, the lovely restaurant with homegrown veggies and fruits and fresh seafood and the friendly accommodating staff and service. That more that makes up for any issues with the rooms. The vibe of the hotel is very chill and relaxing. We loved the view from our private patio. We applaud the mission of the hotel - that they see a need in their community and are trying to help!
Food & drinks: We had an amazing dinner at the Spirits bar and grill. The second night they had live music and we came back for drinks and dessert.

Our second time here. We love the view and service. Beds are comfortable and I love the jetted tub. The restaurant has great food and drinks as well. I also love that they support their local community.
