The Fireside is a restaurant inside of the Port Ludlow Resort. Getting here is great since it has views of the water and the marina, parking is pretty easy since it's got room for people staying at the resort, and it's a big property to walk around. Inside, the restaurant itself is quite small, but very intimate and nice decor. They don't have a massive menu for lunch and things are priced pretty well. The food is delicious however the portion sizes aren't great and the fries were borderline cold and hard (the reuben sandwich was so good, but there's barely any meat or pickles and it's mostly just onions, but the taste is there). The service was a mix - our server was extremely slow, cane around twice in the 70 minutes we were there, and took 45 minutes to bring out a sandwich and a wrap. She mentioned giving us a discount for how slow the service was (she came to us with that, we never mentioned it) but the bill came without a discount. Another server there saw us without water for 15 minutes and came over, poured some water and made jokes which made things slightly better.Overall if they tighten up the service, stuck by their word, and added a bit more ingredients to the dishes, this could be a 5 for sure.

The place was cute, beautiful views. The food looked tasty… but was horrible. So bland. Not worth the money at all…. Do not recommend. The breakfast potatoes were like pebbles… crunchy. Overcooked.

The service is bad, but the food is much worse. I'm not a picky person...to leave both dishes mostly full of food is rare. But the mussels smelled and tasted of dank, bitter urine. The simple ceasar salad was horrible and I don't even know how they could mess it up but somehow they did. Super disappointed in this place - don't let the seemingly delicious menu tempt you.

Great location. The cocktails were okay but nothing special; reasonably priced. The food was VERY overpriced by both quality and portion standards.

Maybe locals will have a different experience. The food nor service was even near the value of an $100 dinner. The views are spectacular and can be seen places other than this restaurant. Bring your own food.......Service was hostile...

Beautiful place. The best Apple Tart Tartin ever. Good cocktails, great Irish Coffee.Visited it at 5 pm, and even though the place was almost empty and we told them we will have only drinks they gave us a table far from the nice view. We reminded them that we will be there for a brief time and they gave us a window table. Asked for cocktails and a desert and the waitress asked me if I knew that an Apple Tart was a desert and if that was the only thing we will have. May be she didn’t have bad intentions but her attitude confused us.If the food is like the desert and cocktails I am sure it will be exquisite. I will suggest them to be more gracious with costumers.

One of the best experiences of our lives. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on 3/30/2024 and had one of the best meals of our life. The service, ambiance, drinks and food were excellent. The restaurant overlooks the marina in Port Ludlow, what a great view. I wish it had been a bit warmer so we could sit outside. Great experience. Cudos to the chef too.

We had the oysters, kale Caesar salad, and two beef dishes. The food was good but not great, which was something I expexcted for the price. The bread, bread pudding, and specialty drinks (Manhattan and Old Fashioned) were really good which kept the rating from going to 3.

We have eaten here several times and enjoyed it. This time we went for Sunday brunch and food/service was not up to their usual standards. Removed plates too early, felt rushed and didn't offer desert. The music was on so loud we couldn't hear our conversation.

Our experience at the Inn, as always was pleasurable, but this time even better because of a server named Suzy. Suzy was knowledgeable, funny, articulate, professional and caring, turning our evening into an utter delight. Thank you very much Suzy!

Tiny portions. $39.00 for three course prime rib dinner. NOT !!! Thin sliced meat like you would expect on a sandwich. 5 small carrots and even smaller potato bites. Came with a tiny salad and dessert as well. After dinner we went home and got something to eat.
