McCormick Woods golf course is a beautiful place and the hall where the Mother's Day Brunch took place was nicely decorated. The ambiance however fell a little short with space that was largely unfilled and music that felt was from the radio. The table arrangement was also not ideal, at least not our table where people kept squeezing between the wall and my husband's seat and then between my mom and another table behind her. There were a few issues with the service, minimal, but they impact your impression of the restaurant. - No dinner special menu provided until we asked - Wine list provided was out of date. The current one didn't have any medium body reds - no Sangiovese, Syrah, Pinot Noir, etc. - We waited awhile for dinner to arrive, and then the appetizer (caprese salad) came out with our dinners. And the dinner food wasn't exactly hot. - The service was attentive - kept the water...
This place needs some service staff training. We sat down and eventually ordered (we wanted to talk first, even though service bugged us 3 times. No worries here. The problem was we were never offered water and there was no silverware when our food came to the table. The food was excellent even though the menu has shrunk for winter. Took a long time to get the bill.
