Had to pick out several wood splinters from my Smitty berger from a shitty toothpick. My girlfriend hates 1000 island dressing. She heard me order her for without it unfortunately whoever took my order failed to take note of it cuz it was definitely on there. No milk shakes either that day.😞
If you are heading down Highway 101, either north or south, you need to stop at Fat Smitty's in Discovery Bay for a burger. I have been eating there since Casey, the current owner, was the dishwasher, before he joined the Marines & before he became a Washington State Patrolman. Some things come full circle. Burgers and fries were very good. Coleslaw is heavy sauce, which may not be your thing, be aware.
What a great atmosphere! Small diner feel, friendly service, and the dollar bill decor was so fun. We randomly found Smitty's on our travels, and will definitely return.
