We had the chicken tacitos and chile rellanos. Both excellent. The waitperson (owner wife?) was attentive, cheerful and accommodating. I've read other (negative) reviews and can't understand the difference in experiences. We loved this restaurant and will surely return.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food within a traditional Mexican climate this is the place.Vegetarian options: Simply ask..they will adjust any item on the menu. They have vegetarian options but it doesn’t hurt to ask before ordering. I personally am allergic to bell peppers, they adjusted my order accordingly.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Port Townsend. The food is great with generous portions . Such a hard working family, I love to hear how they are all getting along in life. We always come here when we're in PT. Definitely recommend it. It is a local treasure.

Long time port townsender and this was our first time in! It did not disappoint! I had a combo. Their chili verde on a beef burrito was especially good. My boyfriend had the chili Colorado and it was delish as well! Service was sweet and the food felt fresh. 10/10 will be back!

This restaurant has the sweetest, most caring staff. This evening the bartender let us sample the entire new specialty cocktail menu, basically free of charge—the drinks were fabulous! Always love coming in.

Ok, I rate the food first, hence the stars or lack thereof. That being said, the service was great! No complaints there. I just don't understand why or how Mexican food can possibly be so bland. PT has the worst Mexican restaurants in any place that I've ever been to/lived. Do people just not like ANY spice? There wasn't even salt, pepper, hot sauce - anything - on the table. My meal basically tasted like tortilla. My husband's steak fajita meal just tasted of green pepper. There was literally NO authentic seasoning. Or any seasoning. The salsa actually had a kick to it, which I like, but it was 80% tomato water.I had fish tacos, my husband had fajitas. I also had a Coke. My husband drank water.The meal was $52!!!!!!!! Plus tip. That's outrageous!I will say that the veggies were fresh, but we're talking lettuce and some avocado slices, so that's not something I want to pay that much for, in small quantities. The guacamole (which I poached from my husband) was also tasteless. No cumin, no lime juice, no pepper. Just...avocado.I gave this place a shot, but other than the bright, inviting dining room, I don't really have any reason to return.

Very much unassuming from the outside but the food is fantastic. However the chips are just store bought and salsa is kinda bland. The rest is fantastic.
