Came from Port Angeles looking for oysters and just so happened to stumble upon some of the best sushi we’ve ever had and of course some incredible oysters prepared in the “Japanese” way. A little expensive but the quality and service made it worth every dollar. Just found our new favorite place!
Ichikawa Sushi Bar is a great place with fantastic food and excellent service. Caleb, the sushi chef, was talented and prepared beautiful and tasty sushi. It has a comfortable atmosphere, and there's even a Washitsu (a traditional Japanese-style dining room). A variety of Japanese cuisine is served, along with some modern dishes. It is, however, extremely expensive, expect to pay around $100+ per person.
I have had sushi all over the US and this is by far the best I ever had. Fresh and wonderfully prepared, there are also surprising combinations served by a knowledgeable and courteous staff. I wish I could afford to eat there every day.
