This RV park, campground use to be a nice inexpensive convenient place to stay in Port Townsend. It is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the beach park and Fort Worden. Now it has become a homeless camp with broken down RVs and blue tarp tents. Garbage and trash is everywhere.

Go see the Alpacas, pigs, horses, cows, and other farm animals. Cats, bunnies, goats, chickens and more. I recommend the 4H hamburgers for lunch and then go have an ice cream. Every thing was enjoyable

It’s a wonderful place everyone is always having fun and everyone who works there is amazing they arnt rude at all and people who think that then don’t come period but I grew up going there so it’s always fun to see the fair grow

This place is close to Port Townsend when you can't get reservations anywhere else. There are 30 and 20 amp service hookups with water. Many places for tents that always seem to be open. Self pay station so that you can show up whenever you want. This is just a grassy lot and pretty dark at night. The bathrooms were dirty and have stalls with showers in the back. We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions when other RV sites were full. Mostly quiet, but you have to watch out for the tweakers! Lots of people doing drugs with rundown vehicles will stop here to take free showers at all hours of the night. Camp host is nice but we hardly ever see him.

PROS -10 minute drive to downtown Port Townsend -10 minute drive to North Beach -access 24 hours a day -free decent showers -there will ALWAYS be a space to pitch a tent CONS -on busy weekends your tent will be six feet from the next one -tent spots back on to the fence of local townhouse subdivision -washroom and showers are relatively clean -events (weddings and other celebrations) can book out the fairground facilities making for a noisy night

This campground served its purpose. We decided to drive up to Port Townsend on a whim but we could not find a camp ground that actually had space or would allow us to make a reservation. We also got a very late start and didn’t arrive into Port Townsend until 10 pm. When we pulled in to the campground there is a self pay station right there. You have to take an envelope and mark which site you stayed in and insert the envelope with your payment inside into the box. When we got there, there were about 5 tent camping spots left and a lot of RV spots with no hookups. There RV section with hookups seemed pretty full. We have a very large tent- 8 person with a screened porch. It would not fit in one of the tent spots comfortably. We ended up moving over to one of the spots for RVs with no hookups and it was good. The ground was really flat and it’s all grass. There is no privacy in the camping spots at all. There are also no fire pits. The bathrooms are okay. They were clean and the sinks had hot and cold water. There were showers you could pay for. The campground itself has nothing to do as far as activities go. In my opinion it really is just a place to sleep, but that was exactly what we needed.

The road to the campground has some rough spots in it so big rigs should take it slow. The campground itself is a large grass field with four rows of hook-ups. The first two rows are 20amp/water/sewer with a few of them being 30amp, the next two rows are 20amp/water only. There is a dump station with water next to the sign in board. Each power pedestal services four sites that are not well defined, so it is up to each camper to park appropriately. The grass field is hard packed and fairly level with no large trees to obstruct your satellite dish. We had no problem getting our 40ft motorhome with four slides into a spot. Check-in is on your own whenever you get there. There is a camp host, but they will not interact unless you need them. Showers and bathroom were dated but clean. Sprint phone/internet was spotty at best.
