This hotel is really cool. Full of history and character. Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Excellent value too. Why bother a soulless air bnb for 3x the price? Makes no sense.
I love this hotel! From the stained glass windows to it's antique fixtures and it's wonderful creaky stairs! It has a charming, quasi-spooky atmosphere perfect for the mood weather of the Pacific Northwest. The staff are friendly and particularly Amber was knowledgeable and funny too! She offered one of her 'haunted rooms' much to the delight of my 12 year old! I found the rooms comfy and the price reasonable. I think the hotel deserves a better rating....
Definitely over-hyped. The photos were nicer than the hotel.
For the price, the rooms were very small, had a lot of stains and tears, the hotel smelled musty and old, and there was no breakfast or any other amenity. My blankets smelled like chips, although I couldn't find evidence of chip stains.
There was no hair dryer and the elevator is only for cleaning, despite the hotel being 3 stories. The showerhead was super low on the wall and...
