Took an elderly friend of mine; we both had never has poke before! It was great! She was pretty skeptical at first. But we both loved our bowls. Options for cooked seafood or tofu if you don't want raw. But it was all excellent and the owners / staff we'e super friendly and helpful. Thought it was a little spendy at 13 bucks a bowl, but for Poulsbo that's actually not! And worth it anyways! Super healthy, super yummy and did not leave us feeling like we would if...

There's like a 20% chance the ahi tuna they use is actually yellowtail tuna. Yellow tail (lighter color) and yellowfin (also called ahi tuna) are different fish with similar names. Due to the fish color and taste there's a small chance. Other than that, the proteins and toppings were all fresh and the price is not too high.

I just learned about the existence of Poke Pop today, and I'm so glad I stopped in for an early dinner! WOW. My poke bowl was terrific! The person waiting on me (I never got a chance to ask if he was the owner, but something tells me he may have been) graciously and patiently answered all my first-time-visitor questions. The interior was light and bright, with every surface sparkling clean. There are a zillion different choices for what to assemble into your perfect poke...
