Stopped by The Brass Kraken Pub for dinner and drinks, and it turned out to be a fun place to spend the evening. The atmosphere has a cozy neighborhood pub feel with plenty of character, making it easy to relax and hang out for a while. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, with fries that came out hot and perfectly seasoned. What a fun bar. Waiter/ staff was awesome, friendly and efficient. We were there on a US soccer match... super busy, joyous, and followed by kayaking with some good singers. Food was great, brew even better. All wrapped up in fun atmosphere.
The Clam Chowder was very chunky which is perfect, it's really casual and open. They were doing repairs so it took away from the atmosphere a lot. Fish n chips were mediocre but the server was quite nice and attentive.
