Gyro Twist, located inside the South Hill Mall food court, is an amazing spot for Greek food. The lamb gyro kababa is seasoned to perfection, and the falafel is soft but well cooked with a crispy crust. For a change of pace, the Gyro fries feature lamb topped with creamy garlic sauce and feta cheese on a bed of fresh golden fries, and the greek fries come in an extra large plate of golden crispy fries with a soft inside. The spicy Chicken Shawarma is an absolutely delicious flavour bomb. For a veggie option, the potatoes patties inside the gyro are perfect, and the spicy sauce is good. The food is fresh, filling, and comes out fast. The staff are friendly, kind, and quick with their service. Gyro Twist offers a large portion of food for the cost, giving more bang for the buck. Ask for spicy, and don’t regret it.
