The food was excellent. Our entire party of four agreed. We had the the Pollo Negro, Tacos, Crab Rolls, Wagyu Sliders and Salads. Service was perfect. (Just please update your website menu. I looked forward to a couple items that were no longer in the restaurant’s menu.)

Hello all Required by app to give one star but this eatery not worth one. Other than the decor. All else was poor. The executive chefs name on a complex menue unnecessary. The server asked my wife how her meal was. When she replied ok the server than ignored me and us the check. This is a place to eat if your breaking up with someone and want to leave them a check for a meal as mediocre as they are.

My husband and I started with the manilla clams, which were very tasty. For dinner my husband had the Peach Pork Chop and I had the Wagyu Sliders with Sweet Potato Fries and a Caesar Salad. Excellent food and exceptional service. Dinner took a little longer than normal to be served so we were comped two desserts to enjoy as well. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

The server tried to sit us in the back of the restaurant near the kitchen. I asked for a different table.
Service was slow as well. My gf noted that another couple that came after we did was served first.

Noticed this establishment took a hit in their food safety rating. Ate anyway and ordered a pulled pork sandwich which I’ve had here a couple years ago. The pork was cooked to death, lost its texture, and had no seasoning. At points it was as if I was eating canned cat food. No idea who thought it was a good idea to throw a half inch thick tomato slice on a pulled pork sandwich but you should remove that asap. The fries were the only redeeming factor of the meal.
Waited an hour for food. We were told multiple times it was almost ready. We left without eating cause we were tired of waiting. I understand stuff happens but this is not the first time we had long waits.

HG Bistro is a hidden gem!! To think that for all of these years I've driven past the restaurant but never visited until just the other day. The vibe/ambiance is perfect between being casual yet classy/fancy at the same time - it was a great date night spot for my husband and I.. We even dressed up a little and did not feel overdressed! The drinks, appetizers, and meal were all so tasty and very well displayed on the plate! Both our server and the cook were very accomodating to my dietary restrications and made the perfect meal per my requests. We will definitely be returning!!! Check it out!
