This place has gone downhill no more homemade Toritias and the carne asada was tough and phatty. Did this place change owners what’s going on.

Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant on 15th street in Puyallup is very easy to find. Ample parking. Have been there twice. Sat in the restaurant and last time in the bar. Standard variety of Mexican food - you'll be able to find what you want. They offer picadillo as a meat choice (not all restaurants do). I have had enchiladas and last time a taco salad. They make and sell salsa - alot of it! Very popular. The thing that stands out the most about Puerto Vallarta are the folks that work there. Very friendly with a sense of humor which creates a happy vibe.

That was a pretty poor excuse for a burger ... the drink was good but you get bigger burgers in happy meals then you do here

This place is fantastic, with typical Mexican fare. I usually order the Carne asada, and it never disappoints!!

Food was good, only thing is, they wanna rush you, like instead of asking if everything is good, or you need something more like desert, they keep coming back if you need box already. First I attempt I said no, am still working with my food, 10 min after server came back and ask same question if we need box, I said no but I need to order something else. I did asked them are you guys about to close? I am not thinking of coming back.

My wife and I actually had take out dinner. I had the arroz con pollo and she had chicken fajitas. We both tried each other's and found the arroz con pollo to be different then most other restaurants. It was made with a brown gravy rather than red tomato sauce. It wasn't bad just not what I either one of us was expecting. The chicken fajitas had a cinnamon taste to it which again never have experienced with that dish. I don't know if the cook is being creative but I think we will pass on ordering from here again and stick with El Toro...
