please be aware if you order on door dash you will no longer get the chips and salsa with your meal. I am very disappointed that this restaurant has gone corporate. have been eating here for 30 plus years. Will not order again. so sad love them.

Recommended by a friend. Wanted to check it out. It was absolutely delicious. I had a bean and cheese ? burrito with beans and rice ? on the side. My husband had a combination plate ? of an enchilada and tamale. He really enjoyed his as well. The salsa was very good as well. It had a wonderful combination of onions, tomatoes ?, and cilantro. Yum. ? Thank you everyone. Can't wait to come back for more. ?

First time to Puerto Vallarta Restaurant. The wait was nothing. We were seated right away. They were very friendly and I felt welcomed. Our chips, salsa, and waters were served immediately. The salsa was spicy good. The chips were warm and tasted fabulous. The water was nice and cold. We ordered our meals. I asked for my enchiladas to be made with Flour Tortillas instead of the Corn Tortillas because I just don't like the taste of corn Tortillas unless they are hard shelled, (the chips). The waiter, of course was happy to accommodate my request. Next is our food. The food was hot ? and the waiter made sure he told me that the plate was muy Caliente. My first bite was delicious. Hot but not too hot. Spicey and sweet. Chicken tender and shredded pieces were perfectly shredded. The bill was reasonable.
I recommend Puerto Vallarta Restaurant. 10/10
Plus, if it's your birthday ?, they will sing to you!!!

What a great family owned restaurant! First of all, the food is amazing and everything you would expect for a wholesome Mexican restaurant. Second, I had sleeping kids in the car, but wanted to place an order and they just did it right over the phone and brought it all out to the car. Amazing service!

Nothing special about this place, unfortunately. It is an easy meal, but the place is a little run down and the service was just so-so. Servers are nice. The bar is better than the restaurant side IMO.
