Started our adventure today by stopping for breakfast at the Hungry Heifer. What a great place with good coffee and a very friendly staff. Hubby ordered the meat lovers omelette. He really enjoyed it. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. The corned beef was tender, tasty and loved the big chunks of meat. Nice portion sizes at a fair price.
The wife and I took the scenic route from Seattle to Cannon Beach and made a pit stop in Raymond to get some grub. We decided on the Hungry Heifer Diner for lunch. The staff were so down to earth and friendly and the diner was super clean. We ordered burgers, fries and onion rings. Let me say that the burgers were perfectly prepared and absolutely huge. This is my favorite north county breakfast spot. Eggs are just like my momma makes. Home made pastries too. I love that it is family owned and operated so dining supports a small business. Great coffee, funny servers that take great care of us. Heck they remember our orders for goodness sakes even if it’s been months since our last visit. Talking about it is making me want those fried taters right now!
