Stepping past the nondescript exterior reveals a sleek remodeled interior, filled with homey banter of elders, fresh potent fragrances, and likely some of the best Sichuan food you can get at its price in the area.
Regarding the food: The prices suggest small portions but in reality are enormous. The flavors are so rich, fresh, and the perfect blend of oils and spices. The textures are smooth, silky, and crisp. The heat of the food is kept well under the mound of itself.
Regarding...
I live too far from this place now to come as often as I used to, but whenever I’m nearby, I always stop by. They are consistently good as always. My favorites dishes are Sichuanese Boiled Beef, Hot Beef Chowmein, and Chili fried chicken. But other menus such as sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, Twiced cooked pork, pork sawok and many others are good as well. I wish they are more close to my home.
This place is very hit and miss. My favorite dishes are their Mongolian Tofu (but not for those with a weak stomach), Kung Pao Tofu, and Green Onion Pancake. Don't get their Eggplant or Tofu in White Sauce. Their Pepper Tofu is drowning in a comically large bed of red chili pepper flakes.

Food is served extremely (maybe suspiciously of how much they prep ahead of time) fast.
