I have been dining at Teapot for around 25 years, since their early Capitol Hill location. Over time and my evolving tastes and the changing vegan restaurant scene I have only grown more fond of this unique Jem. I was so bummed to hear they were supposed to close at the end of this year due to lease issues. But while visiting family I drove by and saw it open and sure enough their lease is extended for a year (at least). So go check out if you haven’t before, and pay another...

Do visit this place. Huge variety of Vegan food and tons of vegan options. We had a birthday party here for 10 people. We ordered Mapo Tofu, Singapore Noodles, Steamed Dumplings, Crispy Tofu Fritters and a lot more. The owners were awesome and they gave us even a complimentary Sweet Orange Tofu. The best part was the Tofu cheesecake with ice cream! Highly recommend this place. And yeah forgot to add that there was an awesome selection of teas as well. The Thai Iced Tea was amazing...
