Their prices have sky rocketed here! $26+ not including tip for a dozen of regular sized donuts is a little crazy. Their maple donuts are the best maple bars I've had. Nothing fancy but their whipped frosting is what makes their donuts really good. Their maple bars are 4.5 stars but the other flavors are not as good. The glaze, sprinkles, cake donuts, fritters, donut holes are 2 stars.

I've been going here for years. The maple bars and the chocolate bars are simply irresistible! The donuts are always light and d fluffy, and they are not shy with the frosting.

Horrible, horrible service.!!! The asian lady working the counter is extremely rude and unprofessional. She has a very negative demeanor. Her energy comes off like being upset that I came in to even buy donuts. Like shouldn’t you greet your customers with a smile and be welcoming? You would think. Maples bars are the only thing good there. Otherwise, save your time and money and go and support other donut bakeries that would be delighted you came to support. She clearly has no business etiquette.

Old school donuts, fresh, great tasting. Some of the shops near me are too gourmet and sometime you just want a donut and not an adventure. Staff presents like they want you to be there, which is great. Not much seating but enough space to devoure and dunk your donut.

We love this place and fresh donuts. Surprisingly they start really early and close at 2 PM.

This is my first time to visit here. My wife love donuts and she found this place, so we went to on Saturday. We got half dozen of donuts and waiting check out. The counter lady helps us check out. I was not pay attention that moment and she telling me donuts prices. I just insert my card to machine for pay. But here is what happened why I'm writing this review. She add other order from my cost and she knows right after i pay. And she yelling me why you didn't tell me this is not your order. So i said i didn't know Im sorry. I know she had hard day or lazy to void my card. But she must not yelling to customer. After that i got my card void. Finally we got donuts and pay completed. And i say “Thank you” to her, however she just ignore us. Donuts ware really really good but service was so bad. So i don't want to go this place again. I know work place is not always not happy, but this is my first time visit and we ware trying to make happy Saturday with donuts. The counter lady make ruined our Saturday mood. You don't have to thank you back this time. THANK YOU!

So we drove to Renton yesterday because, according to Google, they had the highest rated donuts near us. And, let me tell you, it's no lie. The donuts are Fluffy and flavorful. The maple icing is to die for. And the people running out are the sweetest people. I highly recommend.

Went to this place because I saw it on instagram- said that they had the best maple bars in Seattle. I am writing this review even before I tried a bite of their donut because of their service. When we were in line to pay, one of their staff had packed our donuts and I was not paying attention to how and where she was packing them into. So when it was our turn to pay, I noticed that there was a white bag and a brown box that was side by side, I assumed that they were both ours. When the lady who looked like the owner had asked if those donuts were ours, I of course said yes. But it turned out that the white bag wasn't ours and we had already paid for both the white bag and the brown box. I could tell she was very annoyed at us for saying that they were both ours - which I don't think is our fault as it was her staff that put the donuts for her to check out. She voided our transaction and after we had paid for our correct amount, we thanked her for the donuts and she did not acknowledge that we had thanked her or that we were still there. I could tell by her demeanor that she was annoyed at us - probably because we were young and Asian. But was VERY nice to the next customers in line. Regardless of this place having the best maple bars in Seattle, I probably will not be going back to this place because of my experience with the owner. I don't believe that it was our fault that she had input the wrong amount and that it was just a simple miscommunication. But her reaction and demeanor definitely made my first experience here bad.

UPDATE: Inflation hit hard...I guess. I purchased 2 dozen. (1) dozen maple bars (iykyk) and (1) dozen customized assorted which consist of (4) glazed twists, (4) chocolate bars, (2) jelly filled and (2) maple bars. 4 years ago, driving 30-40 min to get some Chucks was worth it, NOW, I can't justify spending time in traffic to pick AND to pay $50 worth of donuts. It's the cost that really left me not caring for Chuck's anymore. Almost distasteful. Love it (thus the reason we couldn't wait to get home to eat) but I just can't anymore. Although this may be my last trip to Chuck's I will enjoy every bite and gift some to a friend.

By far the best maple bars Ive ever had! Only wish they would open another location in North Seattle.

Arguably the best donuts in the region. Especially good are their maple bars which have a super light frosting instead of the regular glaze and are amazing--they're the only maple bars I'll eat. Apple fritters are also great. I don't know what oil they use but their fry is so clean tasting, even if you get a donut that's a bit oily, it's delicious.

Mmmm donuts were fresh and delicious. I liked them because they were not super greasy and oily. Hard to explain, but the donuts felt light and fluffy. We tried the maple bar (pretty sure this is the donut they are known for) light, fluffy, and the frosting was so gooood. It wasn't like shiny frosting you usually see. It almost look whipped. They spread it on , thick and YUM! Sprinkle donut, so good, can never go wrong there. And their date filled donut. Now, I LOVE dates, so naturally had to try. It's like a glazed donut filled with dates. Delicious. Girl working the counter was cool, chill, friendly but like to the point. Would I go back? Yes. K bye!
