Where else would I stop for maple bars when I'm visiting from Maui? Pick them up on my way to Seatac to share with my friend who picks me up at OGG! Still the best ever!🌺❤️
The place looks a bit dingy inside, and when I went, it didn't look like many donuts were out. But this place seems to be a local favorite (I heard such from friends who are from the area), and I can see why. I got the Maple Bar and the French Cruller here (the later, I usually get to anchor against other places). The Maple Bar, which seems to be one of their more popular items, was pretty fresh. I grew up near Chuck's and have many fond memories of early morning bike rides in the 80's with my Dad to grab some tasty doughnuts. I'm pleased to say that I've recently started coming again when I visit my Mom, and they are just as delicious as I remember! My kids are now obsessed too. Definitely try the maple bar, but they do justice to all the many flavors they offer! So so good!
