This is the way a bakery coffee shop should be; a nice warm space that’s comfortable and feels like home, with great employees that treat you like they would their family. I am so glad we happened upon this lovely place. I truly enjoyed relaxing with a cup of perfectly made caramel macchiato with the smell of fresh baked cupcakes in the air. If you’re in Renton, don’t go anywhere else but Common Grounds. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.!
Wonderful family owned business
I had the pleasure of having their mini cupcakes at a family memorial. The butter cream frosting is amazing! The owners are a lovely couple who strive to make a solid product and they have successfully done just that!

Was good cake and yummy tea. The tables are nasty though.. caked in goo… so much I can’t move my mouse when working from here. The staff was quite boisterous so if you’re looking for a quiet shop this might not be the vibe.
