First time trying, parking hard to find. Parked in back. Order food at a kiosk, I had no choice but to tip 25%, couldn't change it. Food came quick, ordered the Israeli Schnitzel and Israeli salad. My entree came with a small ramekin like container with red cabbage and another with cut up Israeli pickle. The price for the food is definitely overpriced, my daughter ordered before me and she ordered the same thing, they forgot to make her food and in the end her food was half the size I received, she was so hungry but felt at this point over an hour of being forgotten after placing order should have comped her food. Staff seemed all over the place, very amateur. Great idea just overpriced food and service is very mid level. Would not return based on mediocre food, overpriced, lack of parking and service and I don't appreciate having to tip 25% on a sandwich, salad and 2 cans of juice.

The restaurant had extremely good food, however the service is the worst I've ever experienced. My wife and I walked in and there was a woman behind the counter more interested in her tablet then greeting customers. We were looking for a menu and she pointed to a kiosk and said you ordered there. You paid for your meal and your tip in advance The hostess was engrossed in her iPad and ignoring everyone around her. When our meal came she delivered the meal and left, never checking up with us again. She completely ignored my wife when my wife wanted a box for leftovers. Another worker who was on his break noticed my wife and asked if he could help her. She said yes The hostess got angry, and and asked why my wife why didn't say something. My wife told her that she was waiting to see if she would actually take the initiative to follow up on our order. I didn't know you had to call the wait staff to follow up in a decent restaurant. You expect to order from kiosk and have no service at a place like McDonald's. But when you're paying over 30 to $40 per meal you expect service. This restaurant did not deliver at all

This place is worth traveling from Seattle. The food is absolutly amazing. The service is friendly. The ambience is like somebody teleported you to some small city in Israel. I had a schitzel in a plate, served with spicy harissa, hummus and a pitta bread. It was delicious and very well presented. I noticed some comments about the pricing. The restaurant serves glat kosher meat and home made food. That is expensive (e.g. a package of frozen kosher burgers in grocery store is 2x higher than a non-kosher alternative.)

The Arayes are reason enough to come here. Fantastically charred and crisp on the outside but bursting with juice and flavor on the inside. Other dishes were all great but this was superb. Prices are a touch high for everyday consumption but you are getting what you pay for here.

Expect to spend at least $25 to $30 per person unless you are sharing. Portions were enough that we could share an entree fo lunch. The space is clean and well-decorated and bathrooms were very clean. Building has very high ceilings and it was just a bit chilly inside on the day we visited.
Delicious food and beautiful presentation! For a certified Kosher basar/meat restaurant the price point totally makes sense. The people who work there are super nice. I've been there probably five times since they opened and always leave satisfied. While everything is good, I have to say that I LOVE the green beans and french fries. How do they make something so simple SO yummy?!

At half this price I'd probably go back, but this is just way too expensive for a better than average sandwich.The schnitzel in the sandwich was more like Japanese chicken katsu than Austrian schnitzel: very nice and crispy. The baguette was good, as you'd expect from any of the local banh-mi shops, and there was an excellent spicy sauce and some nice pickles and onions. It was large enough to be very filling, but not so large that I couldn't finish it at lunchtime.I don't require kosher food, so for my dollar, I'd rather get two Red Wagon burgers a half mile up the street, or banh-mi at half the price, for that matter.

We have eaten at Gold Schnitzel a few times, and the food has always been good. This time though we were really impressed by our total experience.The food came out in a timely fashion, the server was helpful and anticipated our needs without hovering. Friendly people, and a warm aesthetically pleasant atmosphere. Even the bathroom, beyond basic cleanliness, was tastefully decorated.We found our burgers to be juicy and flavorful, the onion rings, fries, and schnitzel were all super crispy and well seasoned. We've always found the food amazing! It's not cheap, but we've always been very satisfied.There was some nice touches here and there, like wipes in little packets, and mint-flavored toothpicks.Could not recommend more!
