The food was just okay. The chicken wings were good. The tacos just okay, the beef not that flavorful. The cobb salad had too much bacon and made it greasy. But service was really great!!

Food used to be better. Service is lacking task management. When i asked if i could pick up my food near the back, i was told no i had to get it out in front of the bar. I could clearly see my food packed and ready to go on the kitchen counter. Staff person then picked it up and carried it around the corner and placed it on the back counter from the main bar as I fallowed and watched. She then proceded to help other customers, clean tables, and assist others while I stood there and watched my food get cold. 15 minutes later she came to me with the food and asked me to sign the reciept. I am probly not going back again.

I can't comment on the food yet, I just stopped by to have a beer with some of the people I work with! They have NOG on tap!!! Best. Beer. Ever! I'll come back and try the food, but it's a cool place :)

Bar tenders are amazing!! If you are looking for a place that can pair you up with what your desired taste is, this is the spot. I asked about scotch and tequila. Both for sipping. They came through.

Decided to try this place while visiting from out of town being enticed by the 20s concept. The concept seems totally lost and only exudes a dive bar atmosphere, but dive bars are my favorite, so no biggie. They have a pretty good cocktail menu, and I ordered one that was actually well balanced. Little did I know that my stomach would be turning at the thought that i drank the whole thing. We ordered wings and irish nachos. While waiting, i noticed a lot of dirty tables, but the bartender seemed more procupied with leaning on tables and chatting for long periods of time with guests. I understand giving your reqular and female patrons extra attention, but this was a bit much. The icing on the cake was that while he was chatting up these ladies, he was obsessively rubbing his face and especially his lips. Like nonstop, and I never once witnessed him wash his hands. He was handling garnishes and the rims of glassware with his unwashed, gross hands. Food came, and he asked if I wanted another drink. While I wanted one, I definitely didn't want him to make me one, so i opted for a bottled beer. The food was ok. Wings were dry, and breading was soggy. The irish nachos were actually very good as the cheese sauce was amazing. Then the barteneder decided he was going to clean up a bit and wiped down the table across from us so vigorously that he flung food bits and particals from the table which landed onour table and actually hit me. He was oblivious. By then, we were just done. We asked for our check, and he brought it and proceeded to just stand there and stare at us while we sorted out cash for the bill. So rude! I hope management reads this and coaches him to be more aware of his surroundings and for the love of god, do not touch your face! Another tip for him may be not to only say thank you with every guest interaction. I say thanks...he says thank you, he drops a drink and says thank you, i ask for a napkin and he says thank you as he drops it off. A your welcome is much more natural. All around an awkward, uncomfortable, and disturbing visit.

Blind Pig Nachos, Amendment XXI. For my first Nacho hunt, this was a good find. Fit into my "rules" & tickled my taste buds with pork, salt, & onions. Decent chip; stayed crispy during the fifteen minute chow-down. I got cilantro for my adorable husband but I am not a cilantro fan. To be fair, the yucky cilantro is not the bar's fault - it's Jason's fault. Therefore, I can't hold a grunge. Just strategically worked around it like a Nachos chess player. Service, very attentive. Crema sauce was a little bland. Lacked creativity but tasty. On my very complex chip scale, I would give it a solid 3 1/2 chips (remember it's a 1-5 scale with 5 at the top). Worth an order with your favorite brew! #barnachos #tricitiesnachoshunt
