La Bella Vita Kitchen and Bar

Decent Italian food, definitely a step or two above Olive Garden. The portions are generous, but they are a little stingy with the breadsticks as the entrees come with just one. The food was tasty, the waitstaff were friendly and attentive, and it is nice and clean inside with a cool looking bar.

Friendly staff. Cheaply decorated sports bar environment. Steep prices for the meals being served. Terrible burgers!!! 🍔 The burger meat appears to be pre-formed burger patties. Very difficult to cut with a knife. The worst burger patty we have had since the cafeteria in high school. I’ve had better hamburgers in remote villages in Alaska. Not a place I’ll go back to 😕. Two stars only because the staff was friendly.

we were sat within 5 feet of the door on a cold day, people kept holding the door and it was really cold. we asked if we could move to one of the open tables away from the door, the lady said she would look but never moved us. the waitress forgot to put in one of our orders so everyone was finished eating by the time we got that meal. the food was alright, probably won’t be returning.

I had heard pretty good things about La Bella Vita so we decided to drop in for dinner to check it out. The vibe is kind of like a retrofit sports bar that had some Italian flair put up on it which makes sense because it used to be a hotel lounge. The hostess and servers were very friendly and promptly got us seated, dropped off water and some pretty solid garlic bread sticks.

We all decided on our menu items with a mix of spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, and Chicken Alfredo. Food came out pretty quick with bread sticks and that's where things kind of went every which way. The spaghetti and meatballs in meat sauce was seasoned in a way I can only describe as very oregano forward. Literally every bite was like eating a teaspoon of oregano/Italian seasoning with very little other flavor able to make it's way though. The meatballs also appeared to be pre sliced and cooked either early that day or were just reheated, which also, the only thing you could taste was oregano.

The Chicken Alfredo was alright, nothing really other than an average version with subtle flavor. The chicken itself was good and the sauce was alright for dipping a bread stick in.

The pizza was probably the best thing at the table. Solid flavor, good crust, no real complaints. If you're coming here, pizzas and flatbread definitely seem to be the strongest part of the menu from what we tried.

All in all I'd probably be fine coming back for a flatbread or pizza, the sauces in the Alfredo and the spaghetti were a pass for me.

The photos of the food gave high hopes, It wasn’t terrible, but for the high prices, I was expecting a super tasty sandwich. I ordered mama’s French dip and it was very bland.

UPDATE:
Tried this place again because my friends wanted to eat here and said the pasta was excellent. This time I ordered the shrimp fra diavolo and it was so good I had to come update my review of this place. Literally the best pasta dish I’ve ever had. Wait staff was very kind on both occasions and the atmosphere is pleasant.

This is an Italian restaurant (well the name is anyway) so I would stick to ordering the Italian dishes. On my first visit the rest of my family got American type dishes and weren’t impressed either, so order the pasta and you’ll be pleased to pay the price they ask for their food.

I would give the food a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for my first visit and the French dip sandwich, but I upgraded the rating. Service and atmosphere remains a 5 star rating in my book

We each ordered a raspberry limeade. We never got it. Our waitress didn’t intro herself and we saw her standing around talking. We later get our food which was ok. We had to hunt someone down for a box and the bill. Not only did we not get our drinks our waitress tried to charge us for them.

The food was good, I wish they had a little more variety of salads without arugula and less cucumbers on a regular salad. Service was awesome! It was quite noisy from all the chat, but I guess that just means everyone was having a good time.

Very yummy food. Meal was nice and hot upon opening it at home and was ready as soon as I arrived for pick-up (especially appreciated the curbside option for this), however my order was missing the chicken on top of my Alfredo that I paid for. It was quite odd, because it was even written “penne Alfredo w/ chicken” on top of the cover for the bowl it came in and was on the receipt, however there was no chicken to be found. Everything else was great though.

First time here on 09/24. Service was good but the food was very bland. The $18 burger was the size of of a regular McDonald's cheeseburger. The quality was about the same. The other folks with me did not care for their meals as well. I do not think we will ever patronize this restaurant again. 3 stars at best.

Excellent food; portions are large. The garlic parmesan fries were fabulous, crispy outside, nice and fluffy inside - plan on sharing them!
