While I have eaten in the restaurant eight or nine years ago, and it was excellent, this review is for a delivery order. I was craving good Italian and came across Monterosso’s on DoorDash and ordered the Fusilli Bolognese with meatballs. Hands down the absolute best meal I have ever had delivered! From the Al dente pass, to the amazing bolognese tomato sauce, to the “to die for” meatballs, everything was perfect! Ten stars! Treat yourself!
We decided to have dinner here for my birthday, and I'm very glad we did. The food was incredibly well prepared and absolutely delicious. Our server was a delight and took excellent care of every detail. The house wine was excellent. Some have commented that the interior is dated, but that is the point. It takes you back to a simpler, more relaxed time. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. This is a culinary oasis in the desert.
My wife and I absolutely loved this little Italian restaurant. The dinning-train was very nostalgic. The food and drinks were genuinely Italian. You must call ahead for reservations! This place is very small and fills up very quickly. Not an ideal place for a last minute choice. Plan ahead.
