This is our favorite spot for an impromptu date. The lounge is comfy, the homemade pizza makes this Chicago girl happy, the martinis are wonderful, and the bookshelf of games adds to the casual living room feel. We love it here.
First time visiting The Peacock today based off of good recommendations from friends and have never felt so unwelcome in an establishment in my life. Upon entering we were not greeted but instead were faced with the manager with an annoyed look on his face. After asking if we could seat ourselves he was short and said yes. My friend and I went in to get drinks. Right off the bat we could tell it was not a welcoming atmosphere by the man serving us. We were spoken to rudely when we asked if we could sit at the bar. We showed our IDs and were sat. In the middle of making our drinks were told they would no longer serve us. Me and my friend are in our mid to late 20s.
