Food was amazing. Piping hot and cooked perfectly.
Service- not good. Took her a legit 10 minutes just to greet me and get my order. Next time I saw her was when the check arrived. Someone else delivered my drink, food and condiments.

This place sucks I will never understand why it requires an online order. Only they charge more online than when you go eat at the restaurant.

Pancakes were really good 10/10. Biscuits and gravy 6/10, a bit dry. OJ 20/10. Best OJ I've had. Breakfast potatoes were a 8/10.

Better than IHOP, the quality of the food is good. I ordered the chicken fried steak over biscuits and it came with a short stack of pancakes. I gotta say the pancakes were amazing. I was most impressed with those. The CFS was alright, gravy was good with chunks of sausage and bacon in it.
The service was awesome but I have to admit they are a personal acquaintance of mine but I watched the other servers and they all did a great job. The place was packed but they kept the orders coming out in a timely manner. They even brought us out some orange juice compliments of our server and it was delicious. No pulp but tasted like fresh squeezed.
Atmosphere was comfortable. We had a booth and they were comfy. It was busy and loud but like I said it was packed and it's a breakfast house so it's about what you'd expect. They didn't have large party seating so they moved a bunch of small tables together for one of the big groups. Everyone seemed to be laughing and having a great time.
If you want to go somewhere nice for breakfast this is definitely a good place for it. I have a few other go to places I enjoy frequenting for breakfast but the Original Pancake House is now on the list too.
There was a bit of a wait when we got there so if you have to keep a schedule then it might be best to make a reservation. Wait time was about 15 mins.

We got pancakes and egg/ meat options. All the ingredients were fresh, tasty, I think it was almost worth 40 dollars for 2.

I was very excited to come to the original pancake house as I’m visiting from out of town and had heard a lot of good things. Unfortunately I was disappointed in almost all parts of my meal. The first of which started at the host stand, as I joined the wait online, came in when it said my wait was up, only to be asked to wait longer. After about 30 minutes on top of what I waited already, they took us to our table to wait another 10 for the server. He was nice, but took forever to get us our drinks and food, which was nothing to wait for. The gravy was floury still and pancakes were tiny. The whole experience was inferior to even ihop in every way, and I’m not a big fan of ihop

Kevin was an exuberant server. It was difficult to hear my dining companions as the restaurant is very noisy.

We just spent 4 weeks in the Tri Cities and one of our “must do’s” when we visit is the Original Pancake House. Everything we’ve tried is excellent from the waffles to the pancakes and of course their incredible bacon strips. We made two separate visits and our final was a family gathering. When we told our 5 and 7 year old granddaughters where we were going their eyes lit up and they exclaimed “that’s our favorite restaurant”! The staff was incredible and attentive and as we finished our meal they invited us to take our time and relax and visit before leaving. I can’t think of a better family environment and experience than The Original Pancake House and highly recommend this establishment!!

Food was phenomenal. My family frequents another location of this chain every time we're on vacation near it (annual family reunion), so moving close to this one was stellar.

Went to try it and it was delicious. The omelette was massive and tasty the whole way through. The hash browns were crispy and the pancakes were, of course, amazing. It was a bit on the pricy side, but it sure tasted good.

I enjoyed the breakfast bowl. Service was good. We went as a family, which this restaurant is perfect for.
