This is some of the best food we had on our trip and on the island. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant. The views of the harbor were also amazing and will not disappoint.\n\nThe staff was so friendly and the restaurant was clean and in a beautiful setting.
We have been going to the Madrona B&G for over 20 years! We live on San Juan Island. We have always enjoyed it. But last night I paid $32 for crab mac & cheese. It was so disappointing. It has gone way downhill since I last had it there. The crab was basically non-existent, maybe about a dollars worth of little shreds sprinkled on the top. It basically was just macaroni and cheese, and they charged $32 because they are tricking you into thinking you are getting a bunch...
Amazing food and outdoor atmosphere. My only complaint was our waitress rarely checked on us. We had the buser refill our waters twice. And inside for whatever reason there are so many flies and gnats. It’s kinda gross walking to the bathroom, cover your mouth. If you stay outside it’s a great restaurant!
