“Hmm, where to start... They have the best pizzas with their signature crispy wood-fired pizzas, and we aren't kidding that they are our absolute favorite pizzas in all of Washington. Next on the list are their pizza rolls. We've had good pizza rolls, but never pizza rolls like Fondi's. Pro tip: If you really want your pizza rolls to be epic, you have to dip them in Fondi's homemade gorgonzola dressing. Trust us. We even know a three-year-old who isn't a fan of pizza (yeah, we think it's crazy too), but he will devour half a plate of Fondi's pizza rolls... Their salads are the freshest salads around; you'd think they were a strictly salad restaurant with how amazing these salads are. We've tried every single salad on the menu, and if we had to pick our favorite, maybe the Insulata di mele with its fennel-candied walnuts, but then we'd feel bad for forgetting their classic Caesar's forum, which is a Caesar salad even your kids will want to eat! We may have saved the best for last, because Fondi's flatbread, which we order crispy with the fresh mozzarella, white bean dip (kind of like hummus if we had to compare it to something more well known), and their pomodoro spread (a really fresh marinara-type dip). We almost forgot our favorite dessert! The Burnt Creme, aka Creme Brulee, is incredible; it's really the best way to finish your meal, but we sometimes order the Affogato as well, it's espresso over ice cream, and it's delicious!“

“Went on a week night while visiting Tacoma. The waiter was very friendly and spent time chatting since they weren't busy. Manager even checked in on us and chatted. Pizza is always great and wood fired is the best. Old building with original brick walls and wood doors.“

The staff was extremely friendly and the food delivered very quickly. The main dining room has a nice comfortable feel. If you are in Tacoma's North End, I highly recommend it.“

“This was my first time visiting this particular Papa Murphy’s location, which is in a neighborhood that can be a bit rough after dark.

The staff were friendly, quick with their smiles, and provided great customer service.

The only downside was related to the food prep. I bought five pizzas on a Tuesday to freeze and use over the weekend. Unfortunately, Papa Murphy’s doesn’t include clear instructions for baking directly from the freezer. To their credit, they do advise letting refrigerated pizzas come to room temperature so the dough can rise before baking.

It would be helpful if they also offered guidelines for frozen pizzas.“

“Chase is spectaclur at what he does. Professional and friendly every time I come in. My order is always perfect and finished quickly whenever I order from here. This will be the only papa John’s in the area I will go to from now on exceptional job“

“Its close to home, phone was ringing as i walked in to an empty store. The rep asked to put them on hold so he could wait on me first. I asked if my on line order was ready and he got my name and went back to the fridge and brought it out. I appreciated his immediate service as I was not made to wait for those phone calls. He was polite and friendly, too.“

“Ever hear the phrase First Impression is a lasting impression? This Dominos location exceeds customer service. Every employee had smiles and greeted customers in a prompt manner. The pizzas I ordered were fresh and exactly as I ordered online. When I was leaving the store multiple employees were thanking me and wishing me a good night. “I sometimes stop by this location to grab a bite and/or drink between the time I get off work and need to pick up my kids from school. The service is always fantastic and they have several TVs playing various games.

What prompted me to write this review is I witnessed the bartender go above and beyond and it deserves Internet recognition! As the bartender was clearing a table after the guest(s) had left they found not only the boxed leftovers but also a pair of eyeglasses. Since this guest had used their rewards number, the bartender was able to call and let the guest know they had left their items.

I wish I had caught their name, but whoever was bartending Friday 10/10 before 3pm is a phenomenal bartender!“

“The staff are great. They're friendly, quick, and make good quality Pizzas. Goes a long way towards justifying the expense.

The only thing I don't recommend is the new Cheesey Stuffed Crust. The cheese is a flat layer inside the crust and adds nothing flavor wise.“

The atmosphere alone was something to gander at... Ages of all types and families just sitting and chilling. This is definitely a place you must stop in and at least try once if not every day! Lol“

“I had a great night at Hank’s enjoying the tasty French dip and fresh dinner salad. The roast was heated on the grill with very little fat on the slices. The bread was toasted; crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.“

I was a little frustrated because I put my order in online for pickup time at 5:15 and when I arrived I was told another 30 minutes. I understand it was Friday and they were very busy but more communication would have been nice.“

“Hy lu Hee Hee ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hy Lu Hee Hee means “Good Times and Lots of Laughter.” The Hy lu Hee Hee is a Gig Harbor, WA local’s hang-out that got it start as a Tavern in 1935. In 1958, the State condemned the tavern building and asked that the business vacate the premises, so they could build a new highway to Purdy. The business was rebuilt in 1983, in a new location, by new owners, which is where it has remained ever since. I have been visiting Gig Harbor since 1990, but my first visit to the Hy Lu Hee Hee wasnt until 5/19/23, which was a Friday. Although I arrived before 9 PM, the music was LOUD! I’ve decided to do a sound check via the app SoundPrint. It averaged 83 dB and got as high as 88 dB, which is considered Very Loud. That would’ve been acceptable if I had signed up to see a live band, but it wasn’t. It was bad pre-recorded music, being played over blown speakers.  I had to shout out my order. Everyone around me was shouting too. My server told me this is the norm after 9 PM. Unless you’re already deaf, or enjoy the thought of shouting at your dining companions, I recommend you visit the Hy Lu Hee Hee earlier in the day.  I ordered one of the five house favorites on the menu, Fish + Chips ($17) - Breaded and Seasoned Wild Alaskan True Cod with Fries, House Slaw + Tartar Sauce. Compared to all the fish and chips I’ve eaten in Washington state, it was pretty standard fare. It was a generous portion of fries, and I liked the housemade tartar sauce. The coleslaw had decent flavor, but it obviously been made sometime ago and was swimming in liquid. Personally, I prefer Tides Tavern, which is another Gig Harbor local’s hang out, but I’ll be back at some point to visit the Hy lu Hee Hee. “Truly a cut above, other Pizza Establishment's . Great menu selections for Salads and Pasta lovers as well. Desserts are delicious too ! I'm not a professional reviewer, but I do appreciate food, that doesn't start off with ingredients you could replaster a wall with.“
